I'm watching the "Magnum"/"Simon & Simon" cross-over right now on Netflix. It's okay, although the brothers Simon come across as even more two-dimensional than Magnum and his cronies.

For me, the best cross-over was between "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "Rhoda" for the latter's wedding.

I always loved watching the Beverly Hillbillies crossover with Green Acres and Petticoat Junction because the latter two weren't rerun as much in the late 90s/early 00s and it was my only real chance to see anything related to them.

I always thought Three's Company and Too Close for Comfort should have had a crossover at some point.

One of THE classic TV events! Nancy Walker and Cloris Leachman stole the show from Val and Mary.

OMG, that would have been so awesome. Here's one scenario: Monroe, established as Mr. Furley's clumsy nephew, drops in for a visit. Monroe is depressed, so Mr. Furley asks Janet to help him find a gf. Jack thinks it is wrong to meddle in the lad's personal life. However, thanks to yet another round of silly misunderstandings (innocently engineered by Larry), Monroe thinks Janet has the hots for him, and Mr. Furley thinks Monroe has the hots for Jack!

I loved the Law and Order/Homicide crossovers. And the appearances of Mothership characters are really the strongest thing SVU ever had going for it, especially after McCoy became DA and kept showing up to bitch the ADAs out. Even Fred Thompson was good for those scenes.

One 3-way crossover that sticks out in my mind is when NBC did a special night of The Golden Girls, Empty Nest, and Nurses (I believe in 1992 during GG's final season), where there was a full moon and there was an ongoing theme with the fact that there was a full moon out. I remember Rue McClanahan crossing over to Nurses, but can't remember if she or Betty White crossed over to Empty Nest as well. Either way, I liked that trifecta of shows with frequent overlapping crossovers.

Just did a quick Wikipedia search. Charlie, the neighbor from Empty Nest also crossed over to Nurses that night. Looks like Nurses had frequent GG and EN guest-stars.

    • Yes today's would have been what should have aired Friday
    • A poster on Bluesky has reminded me that this was that awful story where Jen was engaged to Lawrence. Further she thinks that Jack was going for one of the SNL wild & crazy guys. And then she adds how much she misses Vern. And, don't we all?!! For the DAYS virgins among us, Vern was the newspaper editor & also father to Brian & to Tanner, Vern Scofield. Vern was a good friend to Jack, at a time when Jack didn't have many friends.

    • And, Gio is Rocco's half-brother, siblings.
    • Yes, I would agree that she has some rights to tell Dante because it's their son's brother and it's very unfair Dante never knew.  The whole scenario is odd to me because I don't know why Dante or Olivia were kept in the dark in the first place.  I think Dante would have absolutely accepted Brook Lynn's choice.   I can see Olivia possibly having some issues with it, but she never got the option to react either.
    • Head trip for EON fans and thanks to @GymnastGuy who's been posting tons of Search episodes on YouTube.  SFT August 22 1985 episode Executive Producer: Erwin Nicholson who produced Edge for nearly two decades; this was his last job (9 months starting March 85 through Nov). Co -Head Writer (with Paul Avila Mayer) Stephanie Braxton who played Winter on Edge Actors: Joe Lambie (Logan) as Lloyd; Lois Kibbee as Grandmere (she stepped in for the Maureen O'Sullivan who had played the part for a few episodes, Lee Godart (Elliot) as Bella; Louise Shaeffer (Serena/Josie) as Stephanie. Other non Edge tidbits: Audrey Peters (Van Love of Life); John Loprieno (Cord OLTL) Of course SFT was filmed at EUE studios where Edge had taped. Most of the technical crew were Edge crew for decades.  Background music same as Edge (Elliot Lawrence productions).

    • Ahh...so in that case it's more of a gray area. But I still think Lulu  has ground to tell Dante as she co-parents with him.
    • Well Disney owns the archive of all ABC soaps plus Santa Barbara. There are no known plans for Disney to do anything at all with the archive. Some of us are very excited because GH has done modern digitizing of original scenes of young Lucky & young Liz to use as flashbacks now & the past few months. Jerome Dobson last year teased that Santa Barbara might be streamed sometime. It had been tied up in some litigation & that is over now. The reason Disney owns it: it was owned by New World. FOX bought them. Disney bought all of FOX.
    • I casually watched it as a kid, but I finally started X-Men: The Animated Series season 1. It's going to be fun watching it from beginning to end.
