Hmmm. Interesting! Although Lucas and Nathan sorta bring back images of not one, but two gay couples of the past: KISH and NUKE. Hot doctor (Lucas) meets hot cop (Nathan) is KISH. Tall brunette guy (Nathan) with sandy blonde guy (Lucas) is NUKE. On another note, I'm hearing rumors that Lucas is probably the next Chief of Staff at GH. Congrats to this handsome man if it turns out to be true.

Maxie isn't lonely or suicidal, and she could've had someone. Just before she walked out the door, Nathan extended the opportunity for her to stick around, and the two of them work through their issues together. Maxie chose to ignore Nathan's invitation AND his prettiness and walk out the door anyway. Nathan will nail her cousin Lucas in her absence.
