The celebration of MM's final eppy will far outweigh the cries of the wackos! I'm bringing the chips!

I am bringing the Goldschlägger, rum, and vodka. LOL!

He rambled on about life choices for a while but there are two parts that caught my eye that was about the show and the situation --

It started off with him basically saying that this show has been around for 40 years and some of the actors have been on for 20+ of them, himself included - handpicked by Bill Bell. He admits that he has seen with his own eyes newer actors come in and either respect the vets or make it their mission to outshine them. Egos run amok on that stage but some don't know how to put it in check and it in the end just hurts them. He then goes on to say that Y&R is a family. It takes a village to do what they do and right now that village is being attacked.

Then he said this:

Their hands are tied? Seems to me that a gag order has been put in place. He tweeted a few people basically hinting no one can talk, including MM, so attacking them serves no real purpose other than to make them attack back in frustration. I can't imagine what the set must be like right now. I am sure they are getting all kind of hate packages on the daily.

Jan. 30 needs to arrive because once he is off the screen I think it will die down.

Hopefully, this pulls the remaining cast together. You know, "us against the world" mentality.

I actually think this is why his fans have gone even crazier than the usual cray cray. They have seen other fan bases save their actors, but they cannot accomplish this because he was fired for sexual harassment. They cannot abide the fact that nothing they do can save him so they viciously attack HK and the other actors on social media where they can. I read that they even badgered Maura West during a GH tweet event. No doubt we will get yet another explosion on his final day, but that should be the end for them.

Very "woe is me".

Made the mistake of clicking around on facebook on some soap press stories about Muhney's firing. Wow. ph34r.png No wonder people think soap fans are crazy. It makes me appreciate SON even more, given the rational discussion that usually takes place here.

Either they introduce the "real" Adam and claim the current one is an imposter or they never bring back the character.

That is the only way to bring Adam back.. otherwise they should just kill him off.

There is so much story if the "real" Adam arrives in GC. Cheap and I came up the below scenario in the closed MM thread in the Spoiler forum.

Cheap21 - Maybe they can say he was Hope's nephew that spent a lot of time there and they had a relationship like mother/son , hence the flashbacks. Real Victor JR had an accident that left him in a coma for the past decade and Adam knew, kept him hidden and took over his life. Seriously, it's not like anyone would know. Victor only saw him a few times when he was growing up right? It's possible he wouldn't recognize him as a man and could confuse him for his cousin that looks a lot like him.

Ann_SS - This would totally work. The genetic eye condition that Adam inherited from Hope could b explained if he was her nephew. Victor could get a call from the hospital that Victor Jr. was waking up and they could not reach his cousin, "Adam." Victor would visit the hospital and be shocked to realized that he had been duped and here was his real son. The Newman family would be rocked to the core and we would get a new dynamic. Instead Victor hating his youngest son, he could fawn over him, encouraging him to join Newman Enterprises. It could be really great. I wish I knew someone at Y&R to suggest that they go this route with Victor Jr.

Cheap21 - wow, perfect. I could definitely go for that. Adam's father was a loser that abandoned him and his mother was a drug addict that was in and out of his life, which is why he would be sent to live with his aunt Hope for months/years on end while his mother tried to fix up her messed up life. When he learned who Victor Jr's real father was, he was envious. Maybe they got into a fight and he caused the accident that landed him in the hospital. He saw that as the opportunity to carry out his scheme. This would not only give him money and power, but would give him the opportunity to truly feel like he belonged in a caring family. Unfortunately for him, that's not exactly what he got. He used his new found money to pay for Victor Jr's hospital bills out of guilt but also to ensure no one would learn of his existence.

I'll bring my enormous punch bowl to put them in and my matching party dip tray.

I predict that ratings will go UP after Muhney leaves. Don't these stans know that a boycott has never worked before? Usually, ratings go up when a boycott is in place.

If Muhney's leaving has any effect on the ratings it won't be because of a boycott. IMO, ratings are determined by offliners.

“The only ones abiding by those orders are Michael and Hunter. Michael is trying to move on from the alleged groping incidents, but it’s hard to do when his former co-stars are trash talking him.”

This quote is coming from Muhney or his people. Does anyone else need any more proof that this happened?

When I start a band, it will be called The Alleged Groping Incidents.

Right, most viewers don't give a [!@#$%^&*] about MM or a boycott, they have no idea that the guy has been fired. They will watch on the 30th and be shocked at what happens to Adam and that DT is now Billy.

My question is this: How the hell can Sony or CBS put any kind of gag on Muhney? HELLO, he don't work for them anymore!

I have a feeling, MM wants to stay quiet on this matter. The first time he denies any of it, MM opens himself to a firestorm because thee harassment can obviously be proven, hence the termination.

Whoever was speaking for him there also explicitly confirmed it, didn't deny it.
