It's too bad that it didn't work out for them given that it was a later in life marriage of two accomplished people. Onward and upward to them both. People get crazy when a divorce gets nasty, even average people who seemed perfectly rational beforehand, let alone two artists! If it can protect against future needless abuse of restraining orders, counter restraining orders, etc. then I'm all for clauses like these. Like a restraining order, if someone is intent on doing you harm, no piece of paper will stop them. But I do think prenuptial agreements where money is defined cuts down on lots of drama. Like I said, though, whatever preventative measures two people can make beforehand can help. As for that unusual codicil attached...well, all I can say is- 'they know who they be' (lol).
