What on Earth does this have to do with P&G? I don't remember her ever being approached about ATWT and GL.

To be quite honest, I've always believed that if this venture can succeed it can only mean potential futures for those shows, EON and others someday.

But good news! I've been awful the last month keeping up but between a bad sinus infection, jobs, etc. it's been tough. Too bad I don't have OWN anymore though LOL.

When P&G sells the rights to their shows and someone continues those shows, perhaps Oprah can pick them up as reruns. As it stands, she still is not picking up any costs to produce two soaps.

Maybe this will be the start of something positive after all these changes. I think OWN will test these shows to see if they can find an audience with good enough ratings to go into the future.

And yes, P&G is those soaps' enemy. If P&G ever relents, and this venture is successful, then maybe ATWT, GL, etc. can have a shot. I would love that. But first P&G has to dare to share its toys.

Even if she wasn't (and I believe she was, 'cause GL fans lobbied everyone from the minute GL's announcement hit), it's painful.

It may not be rational, but that's my immediate reaction.

So now Oprah is to blame for ATWT and GL not being resurrected? She didn't want to touch AMC and OLTL either and is now doing so because someone is else is footing the bill. It seems childish to get mad at her about the P&G soaps.

Pretty much. They're taking shots at Oprah for having passed on them two years ago.
