Kristen and Eric were so hot today! Definitely my favorite scenes and love the cliffhanger with Nicole walking in.

I love Brady realizing maybe Kristen did start to really fall for him and you can see he may give her another chance but this latest scheme is about to ruin those chances lol I love it.

F you Daniel JonASS! I hate this bastard. He is not JJ's father and JJ owes him NOTHING. Not answers nor any respect. He can go straight to hell. I cant tell you how much JJ hating him gives me life. BTW, great casting with JJ. What I love about him is how innocent he looks. He is a troubled teen but he doesn't come across looking like a punk. He has this sweet baby face but its a good cover for how rotten he can be and I cant help but love and root for him. I think the actor plays the duplicitiy of the role perfectly.

Eric and Kristen; I wanted her to come back romantically linked to him. Not sure I like this latest development now bc Ive grown to like her with Brady and this most certainly will kill any chances of them and it should. With that said, I thought making Eric a priest was a bad idea and while I thought he had chem with Nicole, I didn't want to see him break his vows. With this though, he does so unwillingly. The result is that he will lose his priesthood but his integrity remains intact. I think this is a perfect route to have that happen. How scandalous though if Kristen were pregnant as a result of this? Man now THAT would be good. Girl pregnant in a WTD story with BOTH of Marlena and John's sons? Now that would be juicy

Oh and yes they were hot. Eric was ALL over her. You can tell he hasn't had sex in YEARS!

BTW, I thought Eric was out of town. Was surprised to see Nicole just drive up to where he was at.

Maxine makes for such a great supporting character. I love how she is utilized. BTW, her weave looks great on her

WTF is Will flipping off on Sami? She fought Bernardi to protect him. Good on him for finally wanting to take responsibility for what he did years ago. They will stop him but I want him to come forward with it. He was underaged at the time so theres a case to be made to get him some leniency.

I read somewhere that Kristen is infertile? Well, regardless, she needs to be pregnant with at least one child (either Eric or Brady would work for me)...or have twins Viki Lord-style (with the Tomlin Nat/Jess retcon). I know Eileen could pull that crap off. Plus, it would be extra poignant because Nicole lost two children already. This story is making me care about Nicole and Eric for the first time in months.

Brady and Nicole sex scene.... really, really hot. And, wow, DAYS actually--gasp!--utilized editing!

Thank the soap Gods for those Adrienne/Marlena scenes. I love the position Adrienne has on this because it makes sense from her point of view and it makes her come off as a thinking person, a person who actually has an inner life and responds to events in her own way. That is (unfortunately) so rare on today's soaps.

Kristen being so mysterious about her revenge on Marlena... love it!

And I am adoring the Sami story. DAYS just transitioned from one big story to the next, seamlessly... and it was because they--gasp!--planned for it and set it up accordingly.

Such a big difference some direction can make.

Kristen sexually assaulted an innocent priest (with possibility of rape to follow) and I am glued to my screen. Seriously I should be appalled yet I'm not - I'm fascinated by her diabolical plan. I don't know what to think of that lol, need time to digest it. Maybe I'll be disgusted tomorrow lol...

Today was hella campy. I'm not sure where it has suddenly re-emerged from. It is entertaining so I should not complain, but it contrasts so heavily to the sober tone the show was following from December to about this week.

There was also a lot of wtferry in these scenes - The hotel that had no working phones, faxes or doors that lock; the fact that Eric had to stay at a hotel because it was far away yet it took Nicole all of 5 minutes to drive there...

I am really getting into the character of JJ. Part of the appeal is that he would be rebelling against Jen even if Daniel wasn't in her life for him to resent. He is still reeling from Jack's death and the show is exploring that, playing all the beats. It impresses me.

I'm glad that both Will and Sonny have backbones and both are willing to stand up to EJ/Sami's flawed values and plans as well as Adrienne's control issues. It is really refreshing to see younger characters try break away from the dysfunctionality of their parents. I don't think I have enjoyed a young set as much as I do Will/Sonny/Gabi/Nick/Chad/Abby since the early days of Austin/Carrie/Sami/Lucas/Noah/Wendy in the early/mid 90s. All the younger sets in between them that have come and gone are trivial crap in comparison.

    • Leslie is an extreme liar and manipulator. I'm not sure what her point was in trying to convince Nicole she wasn't trying to hurt her. As much as Eva did help orchestrate the entire plot I feel like there was too much piling on. Eva never said she wanted to be a Dupree so Anita was extremely out of line for that comment.

That's positive and something to look forward to for sure, because you're right, 1996 so far isn't nearly as good as 1995. Ohh - what is Lonatrat?  Sadly you're probably right. I did feel like David was rarely seen once Marcus came on. That would have been an interesting spin, having Frank and Tina be teenage lovers and Dahlia really being his daughter. I'm getting the sense that Tina won't be seen too much anymore, as she just left Dahlia with Frank/Eleni as she's heading to jail for a while. I like the Tina actress too!  Her voice sounds a bit like Rosie Perez to me, which I love. I tried to find her online, but coming up empty. This was the only thing I could find about Tina Crede - a character snapshot video with clips and stills of her (randomly starting just before the 1:00 mark):

That's wild that the David actor is nearly 40 here! Definitely surprises me.
    • 5-6   Meh. It already looks like a scattershot week.    5-5 was actually a good episode. Damian and Lily. Phyllis finally going on the warpath that I knew she could get on with Billy and Sally. Nate started to question Audra and Victor's alliance. And I was not even bugged by Kyle and Claire.   But then there's Cole's off-screen story. Kyle and Claire going back to being whiny. And them even wanting Adam's penthouse just sounded like trying to keep the set around. And Diane shouldn't even give a flying frak about Billy's opinion. And Tessa, Daniel, and the guitars...yeeeah no.   But hey...JM looked good in that short. And those pants.  I agree. One of Y&R's good points with fans has always been that you do at least see the vets. And IN stories.
    • One of the things that I found unnecessary and a bit disturbing about Ambitions was that in almost every episode someone was holding or shooting a gun.  Jamey and Ron seem to have the same fetish.
    • I had thought that there was a Tommy Biddles on there, but then I realized I was thinking of Dr. Biddles on Santa Barbara. Never mind!

    • I have watched the scene where Vanessa reads the letter and it's lovely, but I'm really glad now that I never got around to watching the funeral. Henry ADORED Nola! He treated her like a daughter and Stacy like a granddaughter. That's why Vanessa couldn't stand her. He was crazy about all the Reardons. He spent a lot of time at the boarding house. He and Bea--they never explicitly said it was romantic, but they certainly were loving friends. This sounds worse than Bert's funeral. I really did not think that was possible.
    • It always bothered me from the start that Nicole just took Mona's suggestion and never checked references.  A real psychiatrist would have done more before hiring someone. ** I like that Kat's reporter/investigative type instincts caused her to be suspicious of Eva from the start, and to try to spy on Eva and catch her as weeks went by. However, I think that Kat's so focused on what Eva did wrong -- that she won't see that Leslie is the master manipulator, making some things appear different than they actually are. I hope that Shanice's natural snoopy nature will get her to figure out what actually happened to Laura, and who really caused all the problems. *** edit to add: The show never specified what Mona's job was for Nicole.  Home manager?  Office manager?  Head personal assistant?  I'm sure there would have been a title?    Mona asserted today her upset with Eva and with Leslie.  That they used her and ruined her reputation.  I just wish I knew what Mona's job was. If Mona was an official manager, then it would have made sense for Nicole to trust the recommendation, if Nicole thought Mona had done a proper hiring procedure.  But if Mona is just an informal helper, then why wouldn't Nicole order a background check?
    • And I'm here for it.   Also...YES, PLEASE.
