then WHY the hell did she pressure Silas into doing this? She tells him he has a nephew that he needs to come and take care of, but when he does just that, she gets all upset and is determined to fight him on it? The writing with her on this topic is inconsistent and makes NO sense

Ranks right up there with "Michael never came home after the nurses ball...his bed wasn't slept in" after Carly spent an eppy and a 1/2 fighting with Brenda in the hotel lobby about Michael waking up in Brenda's bed.

The entire GH "writing" team needs to be replaced starting at the top, of course! Nothing done will have any connection to anything that happens in the future unless it's convenient to the plot at hand.

The overall structure of this show is abysmal!

Raise your hand if you buy Liz and AJ's relationship? There are MONTHS of scenes missing, and BH/SK are lacking the tiniest bit of chemistry needed to make this remotely believable. There is nothing either actor can do here! NOTHING!

Then you have AJ trying to cover a secret that really is not a secret. My god! What am I missing here!!!!!

The good news today was that I learned on Twitter that Bradford Anderson, the human frog, is on a month to month contract :)

Todd looks a damn mess! A damn mess, and all I can do is ff him.

RC writes in story beats which miss the inbetween stuff--as RSinclair wrote, suddenly Sam considers Rafe family, etc.

I'm not sure I really understand why AJ thinks Tracy would back down if people found out both relishes were contaminated anyway. Wouldn't she still rather blackmail him into taking the blame?

What pressure? She met the guy. Told him he had a nephew. Obligation. Was offended by his reaction and left. Went home. Never to see him again. Until he showed up. It's all stupid. It's Ron. How he writes. I hate Sam. I just don't see how she is the unreasonable party in the scenario.

Silas not only looks like Stephen, but he also looks like.....

John McBain.

The above is partly why I'm finding everyones reaction to Silas a bit difficult to believe. The whole story involving Stephens killimg spree was based on mistaken identity and RC is playing the same exact beats he played with Johns resemblance with Stephen for this story, right down to the chemistry tests with Sam and John...well now Silas.

Sometimes I can't believe this [!@#$%^&*] is allowed to air.

I suspect we would have had a few withdrawals next year if Israel had won. I don't think many people would relish going to Jerusalem as things stand now. Not to mention it would have been a prime target for terrorist attacks.
    • And they've given us plenty. Sets, outdoor scenes, music licensing, etc. And that was the point of me using DAYS... so. It's obvious the casino set is not intended for long-term use, hence why it's likely it wasn't as evolved as the other community sets, etc.

    • I just had thought of how to save the Perkins family. (Inspired by Rituals) -- What if Marisa Perkins was Augusta Lockridge's sister? Fictionally, they could've both been local girls, one married rich and one married poor. Originally, I was going to suggest that Marisa be Sophia's sister, but then I realized Joe and Kelly would've been first cousins.  Of course, it would've truly inspired Sophia was if Rosa Andrade sister, with Rosa and Santana moving in to help CC raise the kids once Sophia disappeared.  While this could've avoided both gross CC and Santana affairs, the times were not right for a story about intersectional inequity.
    • https://www.instagram.com/p/DJxW5DLJLId/ Another World is my forever favorite soap opera. But it's finale is almost universally hated by its fans. What this is, is an edit where I've deleted everything I didn't like!!!
    • The Perkins family had potential to be a nice alternative to the more dysfunctional Capwells and wackier Lockridges... but I think a few factors did in the family. 1) Recasting of Joe Perkins 2) Bad casting of the Perkins Patriarch, and the one note writing for that character. 3) Lack of antagonistic interaction between the Capwells/Lockridges and Perkins.  (There was no awkwardness between Jade/Ted.. or CC disapproving of his son being friends with that Perkins girl, etc). 4) Wasting of Jade thus wasting the potential of the actress (which was realized on Days of Our Lives).  She had more potential than Laken oddly enough. The only member of the Perkins family that had appeal and a somewhat thought out story arc was Amy.
    • @GymnastGuyThanks for posting the three new Capitol 1985 episodes today. The two labeled March 12, and 13 are misidentified. The March 12 labeled one actually aired November 12 1985 which I figured out because Kenny Rogers' movie Wild Horses aired November 12th and it was announced over the "March 12" Cap credits. In addition, Craig Carlson is listed in the April credits but not the March. Craig left Capitol sometime after July 1985 before he rejoined OLTL in the credits by October 15, 1985; he was replaced on Cap by Radcliffe and Hamner. In these posted episodes Radcliffe/Hamner names appear in the March 85 episodes but not in the April.
