OMG, I cried too with the Andrew/Victor scene. Andrew Trischetta's unpolished acting style made him come across as very authentic in the scene. Can you imagine, your father back from the dead after a year?

So far OLTL is delivering. I love that they have most of the cast together in the same setting. It was a good call ont he writers part having these big ensemble scenes.

2 years. Overall, AT stole my heart, and that moment, the father and son reunion, was classic soap.

I am really loving these relaunches so far. I think that OLTL may be coming out a little ahead so far too (with the exception of the terrible theme song).

I wonder why they changed the themes so drasticlaly too? Keeping an old opening, or a derivative of an old opening, would only increase the viewers sens of familiarity and nostalgia.

love this exchange

@ajtrischitta amen. here's the question: what kind of character do you wanna be?

@Rob_Gorrie hmmm a guy who everyone loves, Powerful, enough money to live comfortably "manning/Buchanan" style, with an awesome family. Wbu

@ajtrischitta probably someone like #DavidVickers..guy just has fun with life- shout out to my bro @tucwatkins! Killin' it man!

@Rob_Gorrie yesssss @tucwatkins is living the life. #vickerman

@ajtrischitta well, I'd probably want a new girlfriend

@Rob_Gorrie ooooooooooooo he said it. He said it.

I really enjoyed today's episode. I thought it was much better than AMC episode. The only downside was David...but he wasn't seen as much today. I do like the new 30 min version instead of the hour version.

TSJ and FL are so hot together...lol

Rob and Andrew were joking about life being like a soap opera, both of them said what character they'd like to be but Rob said he wants to be like David Vickers, and saying he'd want a new girlfriend and both gave shout outs to Tuc, perhaps congratulating him for coming out and showing off his kids,

    • I think Ms. Rowell should be one of Anita's former bandmates... maybe the one that still harbors resentment over being abandoned. I think the Articulettes probably started out more like The Supremes.. and probably when the other bandmates wanted to go in a more funk/synth pop direction (as what happened to groups in the late 70s/early 80s)... I could have seen Anita bail and forge a solo career since perhaps that genre was not to her liking... and the group disbanded. Wasn't Ms. Morgan also doing another project when the show was casting?  Maybe one day she'll join the show when a role opens up and her schedule is open.     I don't mind the set, but is it a hip place.. or a more upscale after work/weekend night spot.   I'm not sure what vibe it's trying to go for. Orphey Jean's is my favorite... it's a great gathering/neutral meeting place where people of high incomes, middle incomes, and working class can all gather and hang out.
    • Oh, see, I love it; it feels very east coast, and I've been in places like it before. It's unique. And ugh, anyone but Victoria Rowell. Please, anyone but her.
    • It's not going to change, as said plenty of times.

Without a proper person to come in and not be afraid of pissing audiences off, it isn't going to happen. Okay, no, per Zach Tinker there seems to be no investment, not needed, and HELL NO!
    • God forbid someone is upset with their spouse for not being honest with them.   I swear... Misandry is so rampant nowadays.

    • Kate Mansi on Kristina going too far No spoilers - but only if you've watched through May 14. If you want to be unspoiled, wait until after you've watched May 14. https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/ghs-kate-mansi-says-kristina-knows-that-shes-gone-too-far-exclusive/
    • Well, Mo should have tried harder lol GH has had the narrative for years that Sonny is "good" mob and everyone else is "bad" mob.  It's never made any sense no matter how many characters tell us that.  How about no mob?  That's the best kind of mob
    • She absolutely needs to be on this show.
    • they need to bring her back for a role! I say expand Bill's family and have her play his meddling aunt that moves into his house with he and Hayley and goes head to head with Anita
    • I'll be brief with this response because it is veering into Classic thread territory, but I agree about the Taggert writing especially when the show revealed he worked with/was mentored by Deke and knew Sonny killed him.  It gave Taggert a bias that was unnecessary and made it seem like he was a poor judge of character, so the audience was already primed to dislike him even if Taggert was right. Plus, Garcia and Taggert were pretty obnoxious, especially early on lol.
