OK, after watching OLTL's opening, All My Children's is definitely better! Goodness!

So Tad left her for Krystal?

Maybe Krystal is dead. Tad left Pine Valley with Jenny to start a fresh new life in Napa Valley. He and Dixie are on the outs over what happened 5 years ago.

I actually found the episode pretty meh.

She's the daughter Angie adopted on The City. She was last played by Yaya from America's Next Top Model in 2008.

Lucy was Maya's kid. They moved to Portland bc Maya got a job there. Angie mentioned this in the episode. Well she said Lucy got a job but that was a slip up

This was such a good episode. I loved almost everything about it.

AJ and Miranda are perfect casting, and are so cute and natural together.

Rob Wilson did really good I thought. Sigh, Pete. Already love him and Celia.

Loved David and the prison location shoot was nicely done. That scene of him and Cara was so [!@#$%^&*] hot.

Jesse and Angie are love.

Brooke and Adam were a little off.

So I guess Tad is "dead" and JR is who is in a coma?

Loved the episode

Everything seemed so natural

Love Eric Nelsen. Think he will be the breakout

as far as nudity, I feel what they did with AJ was good & probably thats how Nudity will be handled

Pete/Opal great. Rob is really good. Intriqued by Celia and Evelyn

Bummed no Binks

Adam & brooke dont miss a beat

Okay that's what confused me. I was like wait this bitch just turned 5, got a job, and moved across the country.

I guess I wanted a little more to happen but it was an okay start..hoping OLTL does a bit more for me.

I think we're off to to a good start. It had a pilot feel to it with all the heavy lifting being done by the exposition fairy. At some point I was saying, "We get it! Jesse and Angie love each other! They love, love, love each other! They've been together for years and still love each other!"

So nice to hear about Lucy and Maya. I wished we'd actually heard the name "Maya" at least once. But this way, Maya is a character who can always return.

AJ/Miranda are perfection. I got a little eye-roll-y at "Hunter's the hottest guy in school and he spoke to meeeee!" but again, exposition must be done.

The moment I saw David Canary I started yelling "Yes! Yes! Yes!" so loud, I'm pretty sure my neighbors thought I was getting laid. laugh.png

I like all of the younger crew so far. The only thing I didn't like was Petey walking in talking on his phone about how "Now everybody watches TV on line!" I hate clunky meta. The "internet killed the TV star" song was enough.

The opening had a telenovela feel to it, for better or worse.

I'm assuming that's Tad in the hospital bed.

It's funny, I woke up this morning with the same level of anticipation I usually have for the opening weekend of Star Trek movies. I was so excited in spite of myself. I'm happy to have my show back.

I forgot to add how much I loved that they used a song by The Limousines in the episode.

I haven't stopped listening to that song since.
