Oy! That's a mess indeed. I've watched all episodes of We're Here, and as nice as it looks, it's all produced to sway to a certain narrative. While it's nice and refreshing to see the LGBTQ+ subpopulation have representation, I'm still mind-boggled at how drag shows "seem to be" it's only solution to such prejudices.

However, in this case, it seems like World of Wonder and the production company for We're Here need to get their act together. Then again, how far away from producing We're Here was it from Shangela being a contestant to Dancing with the Stars

Really liking the new girls this season. And those Coyle twins.

She gained over 300k+ followers on Insta because of that. She has easily jumped (or duck walked in this case) to having one of the best talent/variety performances on the US franchise. I've watched it countless times myself and never get tired of it.

I loved Arianna's reaction when she looks around in disbelief and what she was been witness to seeing. Just all around perfection.

Just watched the first of the much derided 45 min episodes.

Positive

-less time spent on Michelle 'directing' the queens in the rehearsal for the challenge and watching them mess up.

-less time spent on the supposedly spontaneous chats in the werkroom where inevitably a queen breaks down about some hardship while another feigns sympathy

Negative

-runway was sped through with hardly a chance to see the outfits - especially with so many queens.

-no segment of Ru and the judges discussing the finalists

Maybe when they get down to fewer queens, the 45 min format will work better.

      Your posts never disappoint!
    • Happy to oblige. Names can defeat me.
    • This was definitely one of the best episodes so far. So much to unpack. I'm really disappointed with Ted. I honestly thought that maybe he would come clean and maybe try to explain his side of things, but nope! He was denying everything. Also, I was not expecting to hear that Nicole and Leslie were pregnant at the same time. That can't simply be a coincidence. For a while I wasn't so sure of the fan theory that Kat and Eva might be twins or switched at birth but after today's episode I can't help but wonder if it might even be possible. If the writers really want Nicole to eventually warm up to Eva and accept her, I won't be surprised if it eventually turns out that they are actually twins and Leslie stole her or something. And I'll be honest, I actually really like the idea.  I don't know where the writers are even going with the whole Ted/Nicole/Leslie thing, but if Ted doesn't end up having a drastic personality change with the recast, then I can eventually see Ted and Nicole reconciling. At the very least for the time being I can see Nicole asking Ted to move out and he ends up staying at a hotel for the time being until he gets his own place. If not... then I guess Dr. Carlton is waiting in the wings...
    • I'm very much afraid that she is. But, I am hoping it will be temporary. I mean where's their proof? There isn't any. Innocence will win out, I think anyway.
    • Will Tracy be blamed for drugging drewfus?
    • Yeah his acting was flat today
    • BLQ wanting Maxie to chose who she wants as a friend made BLQ selfish and it was bad timing because I loved her with Tracy Love that Rocco and Danny have more to do Shirtless Gio and Vaughn was fun Tracy and Lois should be excellent on monday
    • Oops, sorry about that. I'm awful with remembering names, LOL. Thanks for sharing the picture!
    • Beginning to end, just a GREAT episode. -- Starting with the shallow but also vital, the GH gods finally answered and gave us a Shirtless Gio. I've made my infatuation with Gio very clear, and the reveal did not disappoint. Boy is beautiful. I love his face, too. -- On any other show Vaughan would be THE snack, but today goes to Gio. -- Nothing in the episode seemed to be filler, and all of it seemed important. Brook Lynn and Tracy...Drew and Willow...Carly and Nina...Rocco and Danny...Dante and Lulu -- especially Dante and Lulu. -- Everything played like an A story at a high point in the plot. Excellent pacing and dialogue.
