I see attractive women with less or even totally unattractive men. Maxie wasnt drawn to Spienlli due to his sex appeal, she fell for him after bonding with him over losing georgie and the serial killer going after her. Ellie doesnt seem like the type of woman who would only date hot men.

If it is, thats clearly not the final product and either a picture of the picture run through an iphone program or... GH really has no budget left, lol.

Not sure if this bothered anyone else, but AJ's comment about Carly getting medicine for another STD was absolutely disturbing to me. I love the banter between the 2 and LW/SK have fantastic chem, but I cannot believe that was even an option. No man, under any circumstance, should say that to a woman. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable! That wasn't funny at all - Carly or whomever, there are certain things that should not be said. Even if we look at the track record of the woman AJ is pursuing and his mother's past, I would not recommend any man saying that to a woman unless he was "burned" by that woman. Gross!

Emme did great yesterday. Dante, BTFO!

Maxie and Connie - Yeah, keep them in scenes. Easy to ff both.

The writing for Brenda is absolutely ridiculous! Carly is at fault for losing the wonderful relationship she had with Jax? Not gonna even blame Brenda for that one. Sorry, you had to go thru this again, Ms Marcil :(

The Brenda vs Carly thing could've been great and was for a moment. The issue, for me, is that while they touched upon what Carly has done by taking advantage of men and using them for her own plots, they have completely ignored the fact that Michael is a survivor of rape. They have Carly call her a pedophile for sleeping with Michael who is into his 20s now and have her say she took advantage of him, that he was vulnerable, that she abused him but they don't just go there and let Carly say she raped him, because IMO that would make her anger and rage less over the top and more understandable. Brenda doesn't know about that either, so she could find out about what happened to him and feel guilty about using him like this and come clean.

It just feels like they go out of their way to have Carly not say rape but allude to it and it bothers me.

I don't even think they alluded to it. I mentioned the rape last week and it bothers me that it was ignored. This would have been the perfect opportunity for AJ to find out to with Carly being so disgusted with his enthusiasm that she blurts it out. Missed opportunity

JP, this makes too much sense, so naturally, it won't happen. But I think they may be saving the rape for another day when they can really capitalize on it. Right now, it's not funny, so until FRon can make Michael's rape hilarious for the audience, we will have to wait.

    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
