AMC: The Prospect Park Era (old production thread)

That's exactly what I came on board to post after reading TK's TVGuide interview. Seriously, it's a real bummer that the shows may not come back. However, I'm still glad we got something. I truly hope we can get another batch of AMC episodes and then if those go well another OLTL and let them rotate. People know they are back.

To try and take a positive thought on this ... I'm sure it's money holding everything back, but at the same time, "normal" shows with seasons go a few months without filming. It happens. It could simply be the case here.

My heart hopes that's what it is but my brain is telling me none of this feels like a good sign. But I guess we will continue to wait and see.

I know the haters will mock me but so be it. I miss the HELL out of AMC and I want my show back!

Give me back the AJ/Miranda tickle fights, the guitar riff, Dixie as therapist, Angie crying, Jesse lying, Colby hootching, AJ swearing, Hunter....whatever. I'll take it all.

I want to get up on Monday morning, make breakfast and settle down to watch...

Carolyn Hinsey: What's Happening With All My Children - http://carolynhinsey.tainteddreamstheseries.com/2013/10/21/whats-happening-with-all-my-children/

Basically, All My Children is just as shelved as OLTL until they have the money to produce the show. I just hate they threw OLTL under the bus by arguing that AMC has (slightly) higher ratings and was in better shape creatively. I think that things are basically how they were when the shows were at a stand still before. Only time knows if Prospect Park is seriously working to bring these shows back or if they'll stay like this forever. The positive is that if they DO ever return, Prospect Park has experienced enough trial and error to hopefully know what will work.
