and no to Liza and Jesse, too much bad history there, sorry

Just to clarify, when I say that I want to see Jesse and Liza interact I'm not talking about romantically. I just think that the characters have such a rich, complicated history and the actors worked really well together. I'm not averse to romantic interactions but I'm not recommending it either.

If they can write a romantic entanglement for Jesse and Liza I would hardly be averse. David and Angie speaks for itself.

I think we can let the TV deals worry about themselves. I'm just going to enjoy people saying !@#$%^&*] since I still can't say it on Soap Opera Network. Fuckity !@#$%^&*] !@#$%^&*].

That I wouldn't mind, but romantically it would turn my stomach given how Jesse and Jenny were BFF's and how horribly Liza treated Jenny, it would be too much of trampling on Jenny's memory by Jesse if the show ever went there IMO

"Hulu has given both soaps the infamous Hulu bar treatment with a link to the “They’re Back”"

I'm confused--why is this "treatment" infamous? I've never heard of it...

Hulu hasn't given this treatment to any of the other shows it hosts. The only time I've seen this kind of promotion has been with its live streaming events.

That said, I don't know why this tactic is being called "infamous." Rare? Yes. Infamous? F-u-c-k no.

The only other soap I remember seeing get the bar treatment was with the debut of "Coronation Street" a few months back.

and didn't Liza accuse Jesse of raping her?

Agreed but I keep thinking about the OLTL clip with Tea dropping the F-bomb.

I can't imagine a basic cable situation where that would be allowed. IIRC, not even FX uses that word. (I'm thinking of American Horror Story. I consider that show to be the "bleeding edge" of basic cable.) I can think of numerous cable shows that have pushed the envelope in various ways but can't recall a case where the word f-u-c-k is allowed.

Mind you, I'm not trying to play censor. I just don't want these shows to lose opportunities.

Aside from Mad Men, I donb't think I can either. As you mentioned AHS seems to try to push the limits as far as possible, and I am pretty sure you're right they've never used it. We'll see--Like I said, Canada worries less, but I'll have to see if come Monday they beep out the F word...

That was what had me confused--simply the wording. I'd like to think that even without Hulu access, if it truly was infamous, I would have heard of it.

I didn't see that. But Hulu is very good at tailoring content based on a user's history and profile.

Yes. Which IMO makes their interactions that much more meaningful. Neither character is what they used to be. Both of them made heinous, awful mistakes and both of them love their children.

Forget about the [!@#$%^&*] soaps, why is it they can curse but I still can't say [!@#$%^&*] on this board?!

PP doesn't own the licensing rights to SON. Yet.

Agree. Didn't Liza accuse Jesse of rape all those years ago? For me, it'd be too weird.

Ah, okay.

From Paos Revolution's FB page:

We at Paos want to take a quick moment and reiterate that we are not in the business of releasing spoilers and you will never find storyline spoilers shared here. Information we do share is documented, announced, and known to us from multiple sources; often times provided to us directly from a show’s publicity team as information available for distribution.

Today’s casting announcement regarding Michael Nader was one that was known to us from multiple channels which included AMC’s official imdb page. Since it had been released through mainstream channels we utilized it as a conversation starter.

I'm very pleased he will appear. I loved Dimitri. I just hope they fix his teeth and feed him some protein shakes.
