For those interested, FX/Canada's showings of AMC/OLTL just showed up in my DVR so I set series recordings. Here in Victoria so PST time it will air at 9am, with OLTL at 9:30 and then repeated at 2-3 (which means if I watch GH which airs at 1pm I can watch them right after--though I rarely will be able to watch live). At the east coast that's 12-1 and 5-6 (which means some might be able to watch after work/school). They're replacing an hour block of 30 Rock reruns (in both time slots)

Thanks Eric! So glad there is a repeat airing later in the day as there is a planned power outage on my block the morning of the 29th so my stupid neighbor can get his tree cut down.

God bless Cady McClain.

Yeah, she tried. Not that it won't stop all the ignorant questions. But still.

To Eric and to Darn: I definitely stand corrected. :)

An article I read on TV Source Magazine said in part:

As if all of that wasn’t exciting enough, soap fans will have an opportunity to interact live with their favorite stars in real time through Twitter and Skype. The shows will also have lifestyle segments from fashion and beauty to relationship advice in addition to celebrating the past week’s shows. That sounds like a lot to pack into each half hour and we’re certainly looking forward to every minute of it.

I say leave those "lifestyle" segments out of it!

No, you don't. What you need is to stop that mess before it starts and give the fans what they need: a fifth episode on Friday. Who the hell needs a recap, anyway, when you have the whole week available on Hulu, Hulu Plus, and iTunes?

I hope this isn't all about fashion and makeup tips, but I get that they want to have the stars connect to the fans in a way that hasn't been done before. I'll probably skip it if the first few seem too dumb.

Exactly--and it wasn't like she totaly slanged it out, it almost sounded like going to ust said quickly. I don't really see why someone would say Brooke would NEVER speak that way (she has in the past....)

Shouldn't they wait till the show starts so people can ask about the specific show? As it is they'll prob just get a ton of questions about this expensive Hula thing.

I kept scrolling down expecting to see something that his hands were, umm full with....

Exactly, Brooke isn't and never has been Victoria Lord!

You made me take another look at that photo.

I wonder if she could play twins on AMC??

Please, please keep that suggestion to yourself.

I like the idea of the Friday recap shows. Whether they are "needed" or not, these are good ways to increase viewer participation and engagement. A number of primetime shows have blogs and podcasts where showrunners, cast and crew take and answer questions from viewers on everything from storylines to editing to wardrobe. It's a great way to make viewers feel like they have some input. I think it's great that PP is straying farther and farther away from the ABC model of "Shut up and eat what we serve you."

OMG! LMAO @ Cady's 'Suzy [!@#$%^&*] Homemaker' video tutorial. It was awesome. She's hilarious and needs to do more of those.
