It's one thing to say she's probably [!@#$%^&*] him. I happen to think she is, and can and will talk about it. My moral judgment on that, OTOH, is minimal. Even if I'm going to talk about that, because that is soap gossip, you're not going to catch me calling her a whore. Because I have no frame of reference for that, and no real context or personal knowledge of these two silly kids' lives (and no room to judge, actually, but ooh lord is that another story).

You mean you're not aching for Internet cool points as you type quietly so as not to wake Mom and Dad?

Why? What do we know about his marriage? What do we know about any of these people's real lives that we may judge them? Why is that our business or our problem? The answer is it's not, but they're convenient targets because most of the board does not enjoy the fictional characters they play on the teevee.

If the speculation about CD creeping on his wife with KA is true, then we know that CD didn't respect his wife or the vows that he made to her and that KA had zero regard for the woman that her costar was married to when she decided to hook up with him. I speak for myself when I say that I have zero problem in judging the sh!t out of the both of them (or anyone) for cheating on their significant other that they are supposed to be committed to/spouse and knowingly hooking up with a married man because I don't condone that at all.

That said, I'm well aware of the fact that folks in this thread are ragging on KA (and CD, to a lesser extent) because she doesn't live up to their lofty beauty queen standards and/or because they can't stand her character. I even got into it with a few folks over this a few weeks ago. However, it doesn't change the fact that both of them are engaging in trifling behavior and if folks on the soap internet want to roast them over the coals for that, I say roast away.

I've always thought trying to look cool on a board called "Soap Opera Network" was a no exit proposition.

Gossip is the reason I love SON as much as I do. Other boards have members that get too caught up insulting each other than actually just kidding around, making jokes, and sharing some good old fashioned behind the scenes soap opera gossip.

I'm not, actually - I just think it's tacky, forced and just trying way, way too hard. Like 90% of the board these days, apparently.

I get it, everybody's feelin' real sassy these days. That doesn't mean I have to chime in with [!@#$%^&*] like "I bet Nurse Sabrina sucks dick for meth!" to try and prove how wild! I am. It's not necessary! And it's not actually funny, it's just kind of bland shock value. It's become monotone.

Vee is so right. The reason I liked SON was that it didn't have resident obsessive weirdos, unneeded bitchiness and cheap "gay" jokes.

Perfectly stated, VH. Kudos. smile.png

My moment of crass behavior seems to have caused this outbreak. My apologies.

It totally was not you.

I'm all for soap gossip, but I agree wit the point I think Vee is making--at a point it gets kindapathetic to just go on and on about how unattractive you find an actor--and claiming someone is a slutty whore because they make kinda annoying silly videos backstage.

LOL, I started on page 8 of the thread and I don't like reading. I'm just shocked he was married, if he was. If he is. He seems so young.

I'm guessing he might be with all the Page 8 discussion about rumors and some of y'all acting ATRL like and some of y'all think it's wack to act ATRL like. BTW, ATRL is a music message board where the "cool" message board behavior was probably birthed.

Since you don't like reading :P he was married for about three (four?) months, and he's 25 which I think is young to get married, but it's not really young considering other marriages (and as people have said in this thread--30-40 years ago that still would be more the norm). ATRL sounds like an awful place if it reminds you of some of this thread ;)

LOL, what can I say?

Thank you, EM. He looks younger than 25 but, yes, it's not that young - and it probably was indeed the norm marrying age not too many decades ago.
