I wasn't saying Jessica Klein is going to doom the show, in fact my point was the opposite.

Chris Goutman is just going to be a director. One of several. And he's a good director and was part of (IMO) AMC's best directing team. Some cast members even went to ABC in the 90s and recommended CG be promoted because they liked him so much!

If Goutman was joining OLTL as a director Nelson Branco would be the first one defending the decision to have him direct and blasting those ignorantly painting him as nothing but a show killer.

I'm totally imagining a scene with Spike confronting Zach about his less than approving reaction to him leaving the hockey team to become a cheerleader.

I want Spike to be Blaine gay to put it in Glee terms -- with Kurt's fashion sense. He'll be really sexy and cool because he's a Kane.

It's going to be so disappointing if he's not gay now that we've come up with this entire storyline.

My point was that she has a spotty track record, as does CG, but nobody is too concerned that she is on the OLTL writing staff. Nor should anyone be. Nor should anyone be concerned CG, an emmy-winning director for AMC, is on staff at AMC.
