I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

The OLTL fan welcome looks like just some random fans showing up at the studio, similar to how people would wait outside of the studios on New York.

What does Jessica Klein have to do with anything? No one has explained that.

I hear allmc2008 was part of the AMC "Fan Welcome"... and Jill Larson had to mace him.

BTW, since there's been no mention of Marissa (that I know of), it's easy to assume she and Bianca broke up... and Miranda & AJ were never "raised as siblings".

And I still like my aspiring fashion designer idea for Spike.

*At the Slater home... Zach is on the couch, watching the game and Spike walks by*

I'm totally imagining a scene with Spike confronting Zach about his less than approving reaction to him leaving the hockey team to become a cheerleader.

I want Spike to be Blaine gay to put it in Glee terms -- with Kurt's fashion sense. He'll be really sexy and cool because he's a Kane.

It's going to be so disappointing if he's not gay now that we've come up with this entire storyline.

You know, I will say, Debbi Morgan is a reason to get excited about nuAMC.

What does Jessica Klein have to do with anything? No one has explained that.

My point was that she has a spotty track record, as does CG, but nobody is too concerned that she is on the OLTL writing staff. Nor should anyone be. Nor should anyone be concerned CG, an emmy-winning director for AMC, is on staff at AMC.

I bought the article and Goutman is directing. With Jessica Klein I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt because OLTL has so much more going for it. Both HWs have a positive soap background (Horgan even has EP experience at OLTL!), plus they were able to get a solid cast back and their EP looks like a good choice. Of course we don't know how either will turn out, but--for me--I see more reason to get excited about OLTL than I do about AMC. I'm going to have to see AMC to believe it. It looks like a mess so far.

Not sure if I'd use Horgan's OLTL experience as a positive.

Damn. It just got real.
