HOLIDAY MIRACLE: Prospect Park Back On Track To Revive AMC and OLTL

From what I saw of Loving I actually kind of liked it.

All those soaps in the 12:30 time slot never really did much though in the way of ratings. Ryan's Hope (or, as I call it. "Ryan's Pope"), Loving, The City, and Port Charles got dismal ratings and most affiliates pulled them off their stations before the end of their runs.

Port Charles was the only one that could have been viable. Had it started at 4PM after GH (Instead of a talk show being there), if there were no vampires, and if a huge supercouple besides K&L were transferred over there too. Like Sonny and Brenda. Or, since it revolved around the hospital at first. They could have moved Alan and Monica Q. on there.

Maybe ABC hired a bunch of new actors and don't feel fans want to hear about them or new characters yet. However, I think (no offence) you're jumping to a silly conclusion--obviously AMC won't just have 7 characters...

In the OLTL commemorative magazine, SUsan was one of the few who was quite honest about hating what became of her character (as she should have--a strong character who has survived so much, snaps all due to obsessing over a man?) TK was also pretty vocal about hating it which is why he didn't return for a Patrick cameo. Of course now this is under new writers, so...
