It's basically stacking the deck. Carlivati wrecked the last few years of OLTL in part because of his constant need to make Tea the martyr of the ages. He's been relatively restrained with her appearances now but I guess that couldn't last forever.

I doubt the word "restraint" even exists in Ronnie C.'s vocabulary. God knows he's never shown it as a writer.

Did anyone mention Becky Herbst's work from today's show? She was fantastic. From her in nurse mode, her scenes with Anna and Steve, making up with Jason and Sam and her touching scene with Dr. Britt about Jake? Amazing and so well utilized for once. I really do love her character.

Ugh, Todd and John both look like bums. And Tea is kissing John's ass as usual. Just like she and every other woman always do. "Sweetheart"?!... Oh God no.

I would like Connie a lot more if she wasn't some symptom of a mental illness.

Who is that horrible girl with the glasses and pig tails?

That actor who played Martin on Passions is still really awful, whoever he is.

I hope they have a decent storyline planned for Ian Buchanan as Duke, and why he would make Anna think he was dead all these years (which would also make her marriages to Robert and David invalid correct...maybe not David, but at least Robert). I was one of those fans that like Duke and Anna, but also liked Robert and Anna too.

I'll be so glad when Steve Burton is gone.

I don't get the appeal of that loser Trey. There's nothing remotely appealing about him, just like the actor who plays his father.

Patrick and that ugly Betty wannabe can die now.

Laura Wright has no subtleties in her acting, but at least it's funny with her. I am so sick of Sonny.

Tea is so much more fun when she's being an absolute bitch and being on a mission to make the idiots around her go deaf. I wish Carly and Tea would have a lot of scenes together.

HA, Todd!!!!!!

The Tea scenes today are breaking my heart. So sad with her giving Sam and Jason the lowdown on "Victor" (though I can't wait until the poor kids name gets changed!)

He looks about 68 years old.

Him & Kirsten look adorable together, though! CUTE!

Thank you! He looks ROUGH! And old enough to be her father!

But hmmm maybe they'd be a good couple?

He's looked rough as hell from the day he was cast. He looks like Comedy Connie's older brother. The character is a waste of space.

Kristen looks better than she has in some time. Perhaps she is absorbing his life force.

So Duke is truly evil? Was he always a mobster?

Yes, he was always a mobster.

Now he's joined Robert in the pile of fodder for Luke and that deadbeat grandmother with the bad haircut.

Duke was a mobster, but he was never the honcho. Back in the 80's, he was shown as someone who was trying to get out of the mob.

Dead ends are bad in any color.

Dead ends are bad in any color.

The cut is mediocre but I think it's the color that really ruins it.
