You're truly the first person I've seen to say that. I've been surprised to see how, as much as people seem to like Genie as an actress, nobody is upset that she's been fired because the character was just so awful. I can't remember the last time I've seen a firing with absolutely no online pushback.

Debbi and Darnell need to be snapped up by GH as Dr. Angie and Jesse Hubbard. STAT.

NO! Ron Carlivati does not get to touch either of those characters. They got an Agnes Nixon ending and that's how it should stay. That crass, overhyped, creatively-barren, self-important master of the banal does not get to put his unskilled mitts on Jesse and Angie. You don't let a baby play with a blowtorch.

If RC or FV were really interested in improving GHs canvas in a way that truly improved the show and filled in areas where the canvas was struggling, the Hubbard family would have been perfect. You get a strong hospital anchor, a stronger presence in the police dept, and a hot intelligent young male doctor. The only one of the 3 OLTL cast members that ever made sense to me was Starr and it has nothing to do with her acting talent, it had to do with the fact the show needed a strong ingenue in its younger cast. I think KA is awful and I hate Starr but it was a move made to try and upgrade that agegroup. Liking McBain or Todd is irrelevant when they do nothing to develop the canvas. They were brought on because they were names. It's not like GH needed anymore over 40 middle aged males. And burton and Bernard being overplayed and lazy has nothing to do with that.

I think Angie and Jessie flourished a lot because they were on a Nixon soap. Angie and Jessie aren't campy characters. Their warm and heartfelt and genuine, and really don't fit GH
