I was shocked at how into it I became. I avoided Revenge last fall, fearful of getting hooked only for it to get cancelled. I hope I didn't make my usual wrong decision this time, LOL.

Connie Britton and Callie Khouri? I may have to watch this, despite my detesting Hayden Panettiere since her toddlerhood, as well as country music.

A 5.6 rating doesnt give me hopes it lasting past this season. I hate being a Debbie Downer....LOL...but after all my soaps being cancelled I'm no fool anymore where cancellation is concerned.....

I missed it but I am going to get around to watching the pilot before the next installment. I've seen nothing but positive responses for this show almost everywhere. How encouraging! I want this to succeed to help further rebuild the nighttime soap genre.

That was a strong pilot! I think it's the best new show I've seen so far. I like how the behind-the-scenes of the music industry covers the struggle of the new generation taking over the old generation, and also the undiscovered. Hayden and Connie were great. I've always liked Powers Boothe - his voice is so, well, powerful. LOL So did Rayna's dad insinuated that one of Rayna's girls doesn't belong to her husband's, and it belongs to Deacon's? Loved the Nashville setting too. Don't think I've watched a show that was set in Nashville. I think if the show stays above 2.2 in demos, it will get renewed for next season and it helps that some of ABC's other dramas aren't doing well. So using a TVBTN term: you just need to out run other shows from the cancellation bear.

Hayden and JJ are both child actors who grew up losing most of what made them likeable or memorable, so it's tough to imagine them doing well on a show. The few times I watched Heroes she stuck out badly.

After all the raving about the show here, I thought the ratings would be better. There is still time for it to build an audience. Word of mouth usually helps with that.

The ratings were good but the bad news is that it dropped during the second half hour meaning people watching didnt enjoy it and tuned out.
