McBain was shoehorned into so many stories on OLTL because the character was unable to develop any natural connections (even the frathouse rape of 1993 became all about McBain). The same seems to have happened here. This type of stuff is lousy promo. Everyone knows nothing will happen to Sonny, Lulu, or Sam. Why pretend otherwise? The best parts are the random zoom in on Sam's cleavage, and the bored as hell look on Sonny's face near the end. So did I. I guess if she were John's old friend she'd get one.
