Remember back in the 90s when they used popular music in most scenes. Not just montages. I watched a clip the other day from 1995 and Mac was talking to Robin while he was bartending at Outback and they were playing "The Boys Of Summer" by Don Henley. I was like "whoa!"

I sure do and also remember when Sonny & Brenda fell in love under the spell of Cassandra Wilson while the Four Musketeers were all about NSYNC/Backstreet Boys... Man, those were the days.

The music scores at GH have sucked for a while. There are a few good ones, like the one Skin posted, but they could use an overhaul.

Now for my take on the opening today. It was longer than the past few days and slower. Still short. But, slower photos and the NS theme song.

Which, personally, I like the NS theme. I wouldn't mind if they kept it. But, I want new longer visuals when the permanent opening comes in a few weeks. Maybe something like the FOTH visuals yet on a black background and the NS theme. Wouldn't mind that at all if they cannot use the old music anymore.

Are you sure it was longer and the shots were slower? I haven't seen it yet, just the lineup, and there's still 13 faces crammed in there.

Just checked, the opening was the same length. Ugh, they need to drop a few characters. 13 in 10 seconds is ridiculous.

This Victor/Todd stuff was a clusterf--k on OLTL. I can imagine GH fans being confused as hell

The music where Mac finds Georgie is OK, but I still believe that the OLTL music is superior and that the hiring of Paul Glass will (hopefully) give GH's music a good shot in the arm.

Which OLTL music did you prefer? I can't remember any of it.

The writing is so bad - music can't cover that.

GH had decent music. My only complaint was that they never updated it. There was no excuse for 8 year Stephen Clay tracks from PC constantly playing in the background. I thought the stuff by Rie Sinclair was good

Namely, the background music at Capricorn. It was nice lounge music.

The Robert stuff is so stupid that I wishe he hadnt returned at all. I wish they had mentioned Anna trying to find him but being unable to in time for the funeral

Why havent the cops come for Todd yet? Considering Blair told Tomas, I cant imagine him keeping quiet. Hopefully he's arrested tomorrow

Didnt think they'd diagnose Kate with DID so soon, well close enough

Delores erased the pictures? What is her angle?

If they'd played the music to drown Rex out I think I would have enjoyed it more.
