Whoa what a stinker of an episode. Kate/Lucas were the only part worth hanging in there for!

Have to echo Days22, the rest of the show is so random and slopped together. The John/Hope fiasco is a waste of time, Bo/Roman was a disaster and Sami praying had me howling with laughter.

Had they explained Stefano's absence before today?

I really liked the background music towards the end of today's show. Kate/Lucas/Sami were also good.

And that's all I will say about today's episode. With yesterday's preemption in mind, they should have simply skipped to the episode intended to air today.

Yeah, I didn't really watch ATWT either but I remember faces better than actor/character names. He was on around the time Jordana Brewster was on I think.

I'm only very loosely watching, but because of the interuption yesterday did they air Tuesday's episode today? I noticed it didn't match the on screen summary on my tv... I did notice the music was slightly better, and yes, a ywan of an episode. Has Sami always been so religious?

He was Ross?? Wow, do not remember that at all, then again, I don't think I was watching OLTL around that time. That was when Todd and Tea were on the island or whatever, right?

Yes. The only reason I remembered was because they interview him briefly in the OLTL tribute magazine about his time on the show--which I was just reading (though he did look basicallyt he samne back then, albeit he's aged a lot in ten years).

Shawn Christian made my skin crawl for his first year on ATWT, and I loathed his character (the "rebel" who helped the "poor little rich girl"). They were both awful characters, the actors had no chemistry, the story stunk. He looked dirty and sleazy, as he has in most of his roles since. The only time I started to like him was when they brought Maura West in as Carly. I'm not even sure if that would help now. The character is just disgusting, and nothing is ever his fault. Seeing Jennifer repeatedly degrade herself just to remind viewers how wonderful Daniel is is a great snapshot of the death of soaps. I just watched that scene, for the first time, where he was feeling up Chloe for an exam, and that's when they fell in love. Love in the afternoon!

Oh boy the show is so boring today so far. I have NO interet in John being an undercover agent and this new drug smuggler plot with Bo is just dreadful. The only thing remotely interesting is the Kate/Lucas/Sami stuff.

Daniel's been back what a week or 2 and still no scenes with Maggie. What a mess and waste making them mother/son. I swear it was only to make Melanie her granddaughter and even that the show doesnt really seem to do much with.

Definitely worth a try. For as much as I bitch about it and find it dreadful at times, I still watch at least 3 episodes a week. As long as Lauren Koslow is still with this show I'll keep watching.

Did you watch her when she was on other soaps? Maybe the Deborah Adair connection is coloring my opinion, but she does strike me as someone who would have done well as one of the demi-bitch vixens on an eighties nighttime soap. Like Sela Ward on Emerald point N.A.S. or something like that. I think she definitely has what it takes to play a mom on a Gossip Girls-type show. I've never actually watched that show but I'm guessing.

I just figured it out, Dattilo reminds me of Talia Shire's son, the guy from HBO's Bored to Death. I'm brainfarting on his name right now, Jason something...
