Digest can confirm that fan favorite Hillary B. Smith (ex-Nora, OLTL) will join the No. 2 show in the brand new role of a sex therapist. The news comes mere hours after ONE LIFE TO LIVE aired its last episode on ABC. The actress had hinted earlier today that she had a new job in the works: “There will b other projects. I have one at the end of the month. It will be announced shortly..... Not ABC.”

Hmm Who needs a sex therepist on B&B? Most of these peeps are gettting more in a month than an average person gets in 6.

Well, maybe Hope needs some help giving it up?

B&B is at least doing well right now so I'm happy with this. If it's short term that's fine, long term even better. It's just nice that soaps see the value of an older soap actress like her. These are the ones we don't seem to be seeing once the soaps get canceled.

Good for her! I'm just getting into B&B so it'll be nice to see a warm familiar face.

I wish they'd also find a role for the woman who played her sister Susannah.

Or bring in Ellen Dolan or Margaret Colin for a brief stint. I'd enjoy seeing the Margos share a scene.
