Good lord, it's looking to me like they're taking Lulu down the future alcoholic route. This is the second time we've seen her turn to alcohol.

This is no surprise though, Steve Burton plays an unemotional robot who never is enthusiastic about anything, and Kelly Monaco is incapable of playing anything other than depressed, melancholy and subdued which leads to her whispering line delivery. That love scene they had this week was a joke. They were acting like this was their first time and were proceeding nervously. This seems to be more Kelly Monaco than Steve Burton because a survey of her every love scene will show she always seems to play Sam as on the brink of killing herself after sex with these gloomy faces one expects to see at a funeral.

Really? Kelly is ridiculously hot and usually has sexual chemistry with anyone they have paired her with. Micheal Easton, Brad Presley, Brian Gaskill, Greg Vaughn, etc. If the men are hot Kelly can make it work more times then not. It's not Kelly's fault Steve can no longer even emote lust at this point.

I won't get into the deeeeeeep and loooooooooooong discussion about Lulu's ruination (whether it was the writing or the actress), but I will say that Dante's been done a HUGE disservice by being chained to Lulu for his entire existence on GH. Seeing Dante with an actual sexy woman -- whether it be from his past or present -- would work WONDERS for the rut that the Dante character's in. Seriously! How many times can we see Dante chasing after Lulu, apologizing to that smug bitch for not telling her things that are of no consequence to their relationship?

I don't agree Lulu/JMB is not the issue. Johnny became so much more interesting once he was out of that pairing. I am not enjoyiing him much these days but being tied to an actress who is limited in chemistry and can't sell romance didn't help. I didn't particularly care for Johnny and Olivia but I will say BB looked and acted 1000 percent better.

I disagree. I think Johnny and Lulu were both better when they were together. I never understood why they broke them apart. Lulu was definitely at her best when she was with him. Out of all of her pairings. Dillion, Logan, Dante - Johnny was her best one. They actually had a viable story to tell which is more then I can say at this point with Lulu and Dante.

*gasp* JaneAusten I could not disagree more with this! I loved Johnny and Lulu! IMO they were so good together, I think Guza made a mistake breaking them up actually. I thought Lulu and JMB was at her best during that time & some of her best moments were with Johnny. I'm a broken record here but Johnny and Lulu on the run in Summer 2008 had me hooked on GH. I will forever defend & love that time (Jun-Oct 2008) for GH!

Speaking of jokes... I find it comical you think that, considering how ridiculous it was to think that a low-class hoodlum like Sonny, always trying to prove his manhood, never knocked up a female until Lily Rivera. It makes perfect sense that Sonny would've knocked up at least one girl during his teenage years. He's into one night stands, he doesn't practice safe sex, he marginalizes women... oh, yeah. Dante's existence makes perfect sense.

What doesn't make sense is the whole Connie/Sonny/Olivia triangle, which seems to have been put in some kind of convoluted time warp in order to make Olivia seem more important to Sonny than some jumpoff he banged a few times.

I agree. I have yet to see romantic chemistry with Lulu - with the possible exception of Ethan. And then of course, TIIC made him her brother.
