The big difference IMO is Brier is a legitimate Broadway voice, while the other two are pop/country singers. Madonna even did a spiel about how she had to be retrained to do Evita because the demand, power and endurance needed for Musical work is very different from pop singing. I often wonder if Brier doesn't dial it down, because on her own she's magnificent.

How long till Soapnet gives us another one of these featuring the Port Chuck band?

Briers singing voice is as annoying as her speaking voice, I don't care if she does theatre. I was a theatre major and I've heard plenty of voices that didn't grate the ears.

^^ It's distinctive, that's all. Many Broadway voices are. Carol Channing anyone? Ethel Merman?

One could say the same about most of the character's on GH, like Sonny & Jason........

I am sorry just from watching todays episode GH needs to be canceled all that promotion for nothing just for Jason to remain Jason.... WTH what kind of games is this new writer playing. This soap has sunk lower than AMC.
