More recently, I got excited when they brought Elizabeth Hendrickson on as Margaux Dawson, back in 2018, and I thought, "Ah, she is related to Jane and Howie somehow.". But just like David Grey, that too was a coincidence.  What was wrong with me?  Except for the good people here, no one pays attention to such things.  You'd think I'd have learned by now.

I have seen a few more episodes of January/February, 1992.

February 3, 1992: Episode had credits, but video I have is incomplete.

February 4-5, 1992: Just title cards.

February 6, 1992: Wendy Riche credited as EP.

So Wendy RIche´s work first appeared in the first week of February.

There was a YouTube page that had GH clips from 1963 to 76 but it was taken down. Shame.

In 2024, the search for Lucky so he can be a liver donor for Lulu reminds me of 1996. It was a creative tool then to use Lulu's aplastic anemia to introduce Carly and Nicholas simultaneously. I'm surprised the writers didn't think it was redundant to make both Bobbie and Laura reveal secret children concurrently.

When did Bobby first express she didn't know who Carly's father was, and when did Carly start asking?

When I looked up the history of Carly's dad John Durant, it was interesting to learn he was yet another casualty of Manny Ruiz. Did you all think Ruiz was a good villain?

So many deaths between 2005 & 2007 involved either Manny or Diego Alcazar!

Manny was overused because Guza was fascinated with the actor from nip/tuck. He became a Looney Toons villain, and then they brought Robert LoSardo back as his priest brother or something. I don't even remember what happened to either one of them.

Here is May 1975 by day, enjoy!

Thursday, May 1, 1975: Joel denies Mrs. Pizarra’s claim that he didn’t admit her husband to the hospital because they have no money.  Peter brings Diana home and she has a joyous reunion with Beth and Martha.  Jane visits Augusta in jail; Augusta hates herself for what she has done; Jane tries to lift her spirits.  Joel can’t bring himself to tell Lesley about the Pizarra case because she is so happy about Peter and Diana.

Friday, May 2: Lee tells Peter that Augusta will plead guilty to manslaughter charges.  Beth asks Peter's forgiveness for her doubting him.  Mrs. Pizzara tells Margaret that Joel didn’t take care of her husband because they are broke; Margaret suggests they speak to Kira about the problem.  Augusta tells Jane that she is afraid of having her baby in prison.  Steve and Kira tell Jessie that they are engaged.

Monday, May 5: Joel tells Lesley there is something he needs to discuss with her that he can no longer put off.  Mrs. Pizzara tells Kira that Joel neglected her husband because they didn’t have enough money to pay for the care he required.  Jim asks Audrey if he can move back home.  Joel shocks Lesley by telling her that he doesn’t want to marry her.

Tuesday, May 6: Lucille is outraged when Henry tells her that patients are using being on the 7th floor as a status symbol since Phil’s murder was solved.  Diana wonders if she and Peter should adopt another child.  Kira tells Cameron that she and Steve are engaged.  Audrey makes Jim promise not to drink at home if she lets him move back in.  Lesley tries to understand why Joel insists they have no future.

Wednesday, May 7: Steve tells Beth he would like for her to continue working on the 7th floor when Diana returns.  Augusta calls Peter for reassurance, but hangs up before he can answer.  Beth tells Diana she feels foolish for having suspected Peter was allowing Diana to take the blame for the murder; she adds that she even suspected he had something going with Augusta.  Lucille is shocked when Steve tells her is marrying Kira.  Augusta asks Jane what will happen to her baby when she goes to prison.  Cameron wishes Kira and Steve the best of luck and tells Steve that she will never be entirely out of his life.

Thursday, May 8: Audrey tells Lee that Jim moved back in, but that she doesn’t want Jim to know that she's been to the Al-Anon meetings.  Kira, investigating the Pizarra case, questions Joel and she tells him that Mrs. Pizarra has hired an attorney and requested an autopsy. Steve hopes Lee will accept a position on the hospital board.  Jim scrambles to hide liquor he has brought into the apartment when Audrey comes home.  Lesley tells Jessie that even though Joel won’t marry her, that she has decided to live with him.

Friday, May 9: Kira annoys Joel by telling him that he may be sued.  Steve strongly suggests that Kira not use the information she has on the complaint against Joel until all the facts are in; Kira disagrees and thinks that the story is newsworthy.  Jessie gently tells Lee that she is not ready to get involved again.  Peter gives Diana a ring symbolizing their new life together. Steve tells Audrey and Jim he is engaged, but when he hears Kira’s broadcast about the complaint against Jim, he reacts with anger.

Monday, May 12: Steve tells Audrey and Jim why he is so angry about the newscast.  When Audrey leaves to go to a meeting, Jim secretly takes a drink.  Margaret gets satisfaction in the fact that Joel is facing a lawsuit.  Lee wonders if Augusta’s concern over what happens to the baby when she goes to prison will cause her to skip bail.  Lesley tells Joel she is willing to live with him - without the benefit of marriage.

Tuesday, May 13: Jane tells Lucille that Joanne is sick with a sore throat.  Jim makes a half-hearted attempt to get a job at Mercy Hospital.  Steve is angry with Kira for publicizing the charges against Joel; she refuses to take Steve’s word for fact that there have been no irregularities on the 7th floor.  Lesley is hurt and bitter when Joel rejects her.

Wednesday, May 14: Diana decides to go see Augusta.  Steve admits to Lee that he is very annoyed with Kira for investigating the medical practices of the hospital.  Joel defends his handling of the Pizarra case to Steve.  Augusta meets with Diana and apologizes for letting her suffer in prison; she tells Diana that she hit Phil because he was angry when she told him that Diana and Peter belong together.

Thursday, May 15: Lee tells Steve that Mr. Thurston is starting an investigation into Joel. Steve tells Joel he is going to ask another doctor for an objective opinion on the Pizarra case. Lesley can’t bear sharing an office with Joel.  Lee presents Augusta with two choices: put her child up for adoption or have it cared for in a foster home.

Friday, May 16: Margaret wants to pull some files for Mr. Thurston’s investigation, and Steve is annoyed when he learns she is going to meet with Kira.  Diana tells Jessie she feels sorry for Augusta, especially since she believes that Augusta came to her and Peter’s defense against Phil; Jessie is skeptical.  Kira tells Margaret she has had a number of other complaints from former patients, and Margaret agrees to furnish Kira with some patient data.

Monday, May 19: Lesley tries again to appeal to Joel by telling him that she will forego having children if she can be with him; he says that he doesn’t want children and he doesn’t want her; Lesley is at a complete loss.  Audrey, under financial stress, sells her fur jacket for $150 in a secondhand shop.  Cameron helps celebrate Lesley’s birthday, and she begins to get a bit tipsy.  Augusta asks Peter if he and Diana would adopt her baby.

Tuesday, May 20: A tipsy Lesley tells Cameron to hold her in his arms.  Audrey finds Jim’s liquor and calls a friend in Al-Anon for support.  Peter tells Augusta it isn’t possible for Diana and him to adopt the baby; she begs him to think about it.  Lesley is grateful to Cameron for his support and friendship.

Wednesday, May 21: Kira tells Margaret the information she has given her isn’t enough. Jessie asks Peter to explain why Augusta felt so threatened by Phil that she killed him; Peter says he can’t explain.  Joel attempts to give Lesley a birthday gift, but she refuses it; Cameron is encouraged by Lesley’s changing feelings for Joel.  Peter is irritated by Diana’s hope that they may adopt a child someday.

Thursday, May 22: Jane, worried about Joanne, asks for some time off; Henry offers to take time off, too.  Kira tells Steve she is planning on putting a report on her progress in the investigation on her broadcast, and that she is going to demand the release of certain patient transcripts.  Steve and Jessie watch the news broadcast with Kira interviewing Mr. Thurston; Steve is explosively angry.

Friday, May 23: Lucille reminds Jim that it is Audrey’s birthday; he goes to look for the fur coat he gave her last year and is unable to find it.  Lee talks with Augusta about her probable sentence.  Joel is furious when Cameron recommends he resign from the clinic and the hospital and go start fresh somewhere else.  Margaret makes some changes on some patients’ files; Thurston tells her that no one is to see the files, that they are to be kept in his office.  Jane is frightened when Augusta tells her she is bringing Joanne into the emergency room.

Monday, May 26: After giving Kira a statement asserting his faith in Joel and the hospital, Steve is called to emergency to check Joanne.  Augusta comforts Jane.  Jim learns that Audrey sold the fur jacket to pay their bills.  Mrs. Dawson is hostile to Augusta.  Margaret insists that Joel come over to her place to talk.  Lesley examines patient Felix Buchanan. Peter is adamant to Diana that they should not adopt a baby.

Tuesday, May 27: Jane tells Henry that having Mrs. Dawson around is no comfort.  Cameron tries to distract Lesley by kissing her, she pulls away.  Dr. Tonella tells Jane that Joanne is dangerously ill.

Wednesday, May 28: Margaret indicates to Joel that his biggest mistake was mistreating her; he realizes she is playing a game with him and leaves angrily.  Diana gets a call from Henry about Joanne being ill.  Joel informs Steve that Mr. Thurston will not let anyone have access to the files of patients that made charges against the hospital.  Diana comes to the hospital to be with Jane.

Thursday, May 29: Jane, very upset about Joanne, turns to Lee for consolation.  Joel is bitter about the investigation into his medical practice.  Felix asks Lesley a few questions - personal questions.  Cameron learns he and Margaret have a common hope for the dismissal of Joel Stratton.

Friday, May 30: Steve admits to Jessie that he is not certain that Augusta should be invited back to work after she has served her sentence and that he is outraged by Kira’s behavior in regard to the charges made against Joel and the hospital.  Augusta remembers a secret that she doesn’t want anyone to know: the fact that she brought Phil back from Africa.  Jessie tries to get Augusta to explain why Phil was so angry that night.

    • BC played Jeffrey O'Neill, her last husband- the ninth.   Yes, April Fools Day 2009 is a date that will live in infamy for GL fans but I feel we all kinda expected it at that point.  The soap press reported that GA's return as Phillip was basically the show's final chance at getting the ratings up.  A Hail Mary if you will.  It didn't extend the show's life but it was fantastic to see Phillip back in SF where he belonged.
    • I think Alexa Havins has been polarizing. A large segment of fans love her and what she's done with the role, while others say she's a good actor but they hate the way Lulu is written -- as someone who interferes and is a harpy. I personally think she's been a terrific recast.
    • The perfect camp. And maybe it's regional? I don't recall seeing a "sponsored in part by..." tag during today's end credits, either, which is usually when I see the commercials.
    • Totally agree on TMG - perfect daytime camp. I always get Febreeze commercials, and did today. I wonder why you're not, that's odd.
    • Dipping my toes back in, and Leslie continues to be THE star. Girl has brought the same energy since day one. Anita has become tons more interesting when played with her former groupmates. Kat is such a massive disappointment. I can’t stand her.
    • this was a great episode. Leslie with Jacob was lol as were the scenes with Jacob/Kat.  I like that Eva is vulnerable at times. Makes it easier to like her. The writers need to do this with Dani more. (and Leslie). The Anita scenes were also well done.  Big credit to the writers today!

date: Thursday, June 5 | Christopher Dunn, Judy Tate | Michael V. Pomarico I love the way Vernon just observes Anita and knows exactly what's on her mind and yet still allows her to explain her way out of it all. He knows his wife. LAURA IS BACK AT WORK! I am very, very happy for you, and I love that Katherine, Mona, and Nicole are there to warmly welcome her back. It's been months! Uh-oh, Ms Dana, here comes the PD to raid your ass; I just wish Eva hadn't moved the helmet and gloves, because she could be caught NOW! Sharon continues to show how absolutely ugly she is with her nasty, distasteful attitude. Shame on her. Absolute shame. Dante Greene is the devil; a truly deplorable human being who clearly felt he could walk over someone without a care by luring the other three Articulettes with him via Anita. I admire that Anita is fully aware of things right now; she's considering everything: the positive and the negative. And with Vernon's support and wisdom, she's got this locked in. Oh, more backstory! There was a hiatus to mourn Barbara, and Anita did not come back. I hate to say it, but that does happen in real life. Choice to take a break, for whatever reasons, and you don't come back together. We've seen it before. I like how humble Eva is with her position at the salon and where she came from, especially in beginning as Nicole's assistant. I appreciate that Laura is struggling to transition back into her work space and that she's re-adjusting, with everyone giving her the grace she needs. I love that Jacob is not backing down to Dana and her attempts to "woo" him. YES ANITA! STAND UP FOR YOURSELF! Vernon saw what was coming and said, "I'm going to safety! This is for the women, not me," and he yeeted himself out of there. Katherine should have an office and a badge at this point; she's more than earned it. Oh, there is a slight flirt in Nicole's eye who is enjoying the continued run-ins with Ted; she's in love with him. And that isn't changing. Go on, Anita! You fight for yourself, girl! Speak the TRUTH! Oh, look, Eva and Laura. This is interesting. Very, very interesting. Notes: Febreze and no commercial; maybe it's only Tide that garners the commercials right now? Trisha Mann-Grant (Dana) continues to serve camp, but it's camp done right. It's not a comedy or a mockery; it's pure daytime camp. I wonder who they'll cast as Dante Greene if the role comes onto the scene. I appreciate them bracing the subject matter of suicide in a way that does not come off as... cliche or in poor taste. Tamara Tunie (Anita) is continuing to show up! I love this for her. A true matriarch and legend!

I love Leslie's nicknames for everyone.  Speaking of, is she going by Leslie or Dana because Ted keeps calling her Dana now. That was a nice scene between Eva and Laura.
    • Agree with this completely. Definitely more sympathetic and fatherly, and there's strong chemistry with Nicole.
    • I agree with this. Damn, Anita giving the girls a reading now today - I'm getting whiplash! Haha, but this is pretty normal in arguments.
