E!'s Kristen is reporting in her latest chat that after hearing Chris on Idol, Fuel wanted him to join their band and replace their recently departed lead-singer. Unfortunatley, because he signed the 'I Am Now Idol's !@#$%^&*]' contract, that isn't gonna happen. Too bad, I think it would have been great to see him with Fuel.

Oh Kinnik, darling I dont even know why you came out and sang tonight bc you are clearly going home. Your time is up!

The girls rocked the house tonight. Overall they were uch better this week than last. The best by far was Mandissa. Im loving seeing her do well.

Didnt Carrie sing Kellie Pickler's song last year? I think she sang it when it was just her, Vonzell and Bo. I felt like Deja Vu since Kellie is Carrie clone and I couldnt stand Carrie but oh well.

What was up with Ayla? Ive liked her but not this week. Bad song choice. I think Melissa is joining Kinnik but it might be Ayla

Mandisa was the best again. I voted for and also Paris Bennett, who was good as well. Lisa Turner was good again too. Rounding out my top 5 of the night were Kellie Pickler (as much as I wish she wasn't, I think she's trying to copy Carrie Underwood, and she seems like a slut) and Katharine McPhee (although I don't like her nearly as good as I did). Ayla was worse tonight (her worst performance), she shouldn't have sung "Unwritten". Going home IMHO are Kinnik Skye, I can't believe she was one of my faves 2 weeks ago. She was HORRIBLE. Also Melissa McGhee shouting (I agree Simon!) "What About Love?" , needs to go!

I'm sorry, how does Kellie seem like a slut? I just don't see that!

That said, I disagreed with King Reilly before but, damn, she did look a little fake tonight when Simon pulled that "naughty minx" bit. "I'm a naughty MINK!" / Simon: "Minx."

Um, yeah. WHATever.

still, I loves me some Kellie PICKLER!!!

Whether she's faking it or not, it's all part of her charm. AS Hank williams Jr. sings, "Country folks can survive."

she may not be naive and may be smart as a whip, but that's all part of the business.

I thought it was pretty good, but most of the girls were off tonight. I really liked Mandisa alot. I thought Kellie was great, but love her personality the most. I don't think Simon meant that Kellie was a better singer than Carrie - just that he likes her personality is the way I took it and she does have a better personality than Carrie.

He praised Carrie on her vocal ability many times last year, but he said tonight that Kellie was not the best singer.

    • Absolutely! Brad should've simply moved on from Lunacy. There's no point of freeing her, if you're not going to at least make an attempt at redemption or incorporating her into the fold. It happened with Quinn, who committed quite a few felonies before become the Forrester Matriarch.  Heck, keep Lunacy in prison and have Poppy/Finn discover that she gave birth to twins - 'Sunny' could've come on with a clean slate and still had Sheila/Finn and all the other drama. It certainly couldn't have been worse than what we've witnessed with the destruction of $B.
    • I would enjoy it if Swan popped up on BTG as an old one time friend/mentor of Anita’s for a cameo. This is just

    • I had totally forgotten that Courtney story. I see Burton was already phoning it in by that point.
    • omg I completely missed that, but now when I see it typed here in your post, it's obvious icky cringe. So now I just checked and Tomas said that -- on May 27 that he likes the author Carl Ivati.  He said it with sort of an accent, so I didn't catch the stupid joke or think about the spelling.   I remember when that aired, that I actually said to myself at the time, "I wonder if that's a Latin American author, and I will have to google him later." And now I see your post, and I see. Well that's cringe, and I feel stupid to have fallen for it.

    • There's a lot you don't need if you have the writing.  You don't even need large casts!  You could make do with a cast of 12-18 actors if the writing is there.
    • Thank you. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with sleeping around if your spouse actually knows about it. She’s just a cheating slut.
    • OMG...Robert Mandan! And Donna Mills is a child. I keep hoping for more of early Ross/Vanessa.
    • I get your point, but I also know that if the roles were reversed -- if a man were screwing around on a woman this way -- everyone would be all "All with his head!" When I say Vanessa needs therapy, I'm actually being kind, because I could begin and end with the fact that she's a cheating slut.
    • Is nobody going to mention the cringefest that is 'Carl Ivati'?
    • I've accepted we'll probably never see any of the Roger/Holly 1976-1978 storyline. Whenever any of Roger/Holly 1979 and 1980 storylines surface, those are must watch as they set in motion everything we saw a decade later.
