May 14, 201114 yr Member SMG should play Jane Campbell's daughter: "Kendall, my mother is seriously ill, she's had this crazy Erica Kane obsession for as long as I can remember. I had no idea it had gone this far. I see so much of myself in you, I know we haven't had the easiest relationships with our mothers, but Kendall, you've got to convince Erica to have mercy on my mother!" *cue ♫dunh-dunh-dunh-dunh...♫*

May 14, 201114 yr Member She was courteous enough to lie and say Alicia does a great job as Kendall. [Victoria Wyndham/Rachel Cory]How can you say that? HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT?[/Victoria Wyndham/Rachel Cory] ;-)
May 14, 201114 yr Member She's so nice. She was courteous enough to lie and say Alicia does a great job as Kendall. I hated her Kendall, I think they modeled Greenlee after her Kendall, cause(pre-Rylee) there wasn't much difference, both are such one note characters who lack any depth or feeling, but at least SMG was better than RB could ever dream of being Edited May 14, 201114 yr by dragonflies
May 14, 201114 yr Member I hated her Kendall, I think they modeled Greenlee after her Kendall, cause(pre-Rylee) there wasn't much difference, both are such one note characters who lack any depth or feeling, but at least SMG was better than RB could ever dream of being Kendall was always alot more subtle and subdued than Greenlee ever was. Greenlee was written more like a pitbull. Extremely impulsive and quick to attack. That did not describe Kendall under SMG. She was more methodically and strategic with her schemes. She wasnt quick to pick fights and be a bitch just for the sake of being a bitch. Overall she was alot more sly, cunning and her approach to confrontation was more defensive whereas with Greenlee, she was more offensive, literally picking on and antagonizing others
May 14, 201114 yr Member On her favorite memories from working on "All My Children": "My friends that I made: Kelly Ripa, Eva La Rue, Sidney Penny. I still speak to these women all the time. I made amazing friends, and it was one of the greatest training grounds I ever could have asked for." Anyone else find it odd that she can't even spell her "good friend's" name correctly? Unless that's just a typo from Angela
May 14, 201114 yr Member Finally got to watch La Lucci's interview with Joy. I love what she has to say about Survivor and canned tuna.
May 14, 201114 yr Member Finally got to watch La Lucci's interview with Joy. I love what she has to say about Survivor and canned tuna. Susan is SO ready to unleash. She actually answered Joy's "are you pissed?" with a Yes. She's almost like a jack in the box, we're winding her up and up and up and up and soon she won't be able to help herself and she'll POP! I'm hoping it's with Andy Cohen, she'll have a cocktail in hand and an adoring host to help her through it.
May 14, 201114 yr Member I don't think anyone here would mind if you spent more time over there. :o I would! I love Spencer! Edited May 14, 201114 yr by SoapBoy94
May 14, 201114 yr Member That interview is great. I love the part about how watching a soap is like reading a novel for an hour a day. It's a very good simile, and I think it's good way to explain the allure of soaps to someone who doesn't watch.
May 14, 201114 yr Member Cancellation might suck for AMC and its fans, but it's getting SL the press and attention of her life. (Who's laughing now, Brian Frons?) Meanwhile, what she has to about "reality shows" in general is correct, I think. "An American Family" was "reality;" the [!@#$%^&*] that's on today ain't nowhere realistic.
May 14, 201114 yr Member I think the closest you get to reality is Big Brother, because you have the option of watching a live feed and even if you don't watch, you can read transcripts, if you have the time or energy, that is. I do think that a lot of viewers know, and don't especially care, that stuff like Real Housewives isn't real. It's a fun way to kill time, not a docudrama. The only reason they're called reality shows is because it was a term created years ago for the genre. I always kind of laugh when someone says, "Survivor isn't real!" Anyone who has watched for more than a few episodes know it's about as real as Jeff's hair color... Edited May 14, 201114 yr by CarlD2
