Wow. I hope it wasn't anything more serious than dizziness and then fainting from overheating. And her crew was on it.

On a lighter note, that looked super dramatic lol Soap operas would be jealous.

Looks for a future storyline for The Hilary Hour.  WW's fall was better done than Victoria's on Y&R, that's for sure.

I have to admit I really did think she was doing it as a Halloween prank until she said it was real. It's very soap opera-ish.

I hope she's OK.

I think I heard in an interview with her years ago that she has a thyroid condition.

She does, that's why her eyes bulge.  She explained this to Daryl Hannah on the Red carpet once when Daryl commented on her large eyes.

I agree with @Cat that it looks like Wendy might have had a TIA (mini-stroke) live on air. That is frightening because a TIA is the drumroll before a major stroke.

I like Wendy, I root for her, and I think it wouldn't hurt for everyone to say a prayer for her and her health.

Truth be told, I run hot and cold with Wendy.  Sometimes I'm down with her, and sometimes I'm not.  Regardless, though, I would tell her to treat today as a wake-up call to get her health in check.

 +1

She was particularly bad during her time on radio in NYC, I couldn't really stand to listen to her, she sometimes harassed people for kicks and ratings.

Still, I can never truly wish another human being any ill will.

SAme I like her too, though she does say some stupid or provocative stuff sometimes. Over the past year I have noticed an air of sadness and distraction about her. I don't think she is happy doing the show as much as she used to be, but at the same time, I think she is holding onto it like a lifeline. I know her long-time hair/wig person died unexpectedly last summer, and she was close with him. That and whatever is happening with her husband, most be stressing her out a great deal. I am hoping she pulls through. There is of course anti-stroke medication that you can take to mitigate the possibility of a major stroke.

I've passed out from overheating plus missing breakfast. That's fairly consistent with what I experienced and what I was told by other people. The problem is your vision goes before you lose consciousness and you're still functioning in some ways while your brain is shutting down. I managed to walk a couple of hundred feet before I finally fell out. I was almost at the top of a flight of stairs. But I agree that she needs to get to a doctor just to make sure. Even if she truly believes it was overheating, she might be wrong.
