This is great news, if true! Probably a bit of a last-ditch effort to shore up this show, but if it at least reconstructs some of the familiar AMC before the end, it's a present for AMC lovers.

I'm going to hold on a bit before I go all out and celebrate and shake my black ass in people's faces, because I want to be sure. But um...

According To DC ABC did a focus group & OLTL scored Highest of the three

We'll find out the details next week, most definitely, but just because Broderick was named Head Writer according to SID, that doesn't mean AMC is safe. Remember you all said "let's hope ABC brings back Broderick or McTavish to write the show until the end in order to give it a proper send-off" or something to that effect.

I think that there was always a good chance AMC would outlast OLTL - AMC has always had more network support.

They need to get a new producer already!

I didn't think Kriezman and Swajeski were that bad, but I can see where Broderick might be an improvement. I was not a big big fan of her tenure from 95-97 but there were some great moments. I just wonder whether she can do anything with Frons around.

Lorraine can be great. Other times, I thought her stories were distasteful and too reliant on megalomaniac/psycho types.

She also likes baby switches. She had them on three different soaps.

I actually wonder if this baby story might have been her idea.

If she's coming back to write the end, or if their intention is to have her write the end whenever they plan to cancel, I'm just happy it'll be HER who'll be penning it & not K&S!!

I wonder what her take will be on the Jessie/Angie situation & Kendall.
