Deadline Hollywood Says AMC May Be A Goner

I think they will probably bring those two back but it will be "blink and miss" appearances like they did at the end of GL.

It's sad because I really can't see many people from AMC's past turning down an invite to come back for the end, if only as a favor to Agnes. But they likely won't even be asked.

I could even see Josh Duhamel making an appearance in some aspect, he's always been open to it. I wonder if they'll bring back an alive Dixie?

Nah, I just think K&S would take the pen and do whatever they wanted. What would they have to lose? And what would Frons care at the point of cancellation. It's almost why I want AMC to go first. Because I don't know K&S having EXTRA time to run ammock.

If it came down to Frons giving AMC some money for some substantial returns or that money going to GH for a couple of new sets, GH would be getting its new sets.

I'd almost bet K&S would end the show how they wanted it. So yes, if we really are looking down the barrel of cancellation, lets give them no longer than September.

The Days argument about OLTL surviving what, longer than a year or longer than GH is cute, but not going to happen. It's like thismuch behind AMC. This is like a house of cards, they're all going to come tumbling down. OLTL will likely just get a little more time to die.

^The numbers don't back it up. Everyone is saying the numbers mean AMC is toast, but I don't see OLTL numbers saying they're going to survive. In fact, they lost the demos gains after sweeps, didn't they?

But the sacred focus groups liked it even more than GH! That must have thrown Frons for a loop.

I'm not doubting Errol at all, but it just seems strange to me. Especially since the ratings don't back it up, at all. Beating AMC, maybe. GH? Hmmm.

Oh well. I don't care. If AMC is going, it's going. The sooner that pen is out of K&S's hands, the better.

Kylie, I'm sorry but you're not objective about this. And neither am I. But Errol is. And I had also thought OLTL had months to a year at best behind AMC - but judging by what Errol has said I am reconsidering.

^I'm not saying otherwise. Just surprising. That's all. The ratings don't really reflect that, so it's rather shocking. I am happy something knocked GH off it's pegs, though. LOL

They most certainly would move OLTL to LA to preserve it and use the money for AMC on OLTL.

You know what this means. Coming to GH!

The reunion you've all been waiting for

So what do you think the reason is that focus group people like OLTL the best?

A daytime landscape without Erica Kane? Say it ain't so! A source close to 'All My Children' has confirmed to our friends at TV Squad that the series is in jeopardy.

ABC could make an announcement regarding the fate of 'All My Children' as soon as today or tomorrow. Despite it being a bigger brand, 'AMC's' sagging ratings has put the series on the chopping block.

If 'AMC' is canceled, ABC could move 'One Life to Live' to California. Deadline notes ABC may replace 'AMC' with a talk show, similar to what CBS did with 'As the World Turns.'

In recent weeks 'AMC' has delivered record lows in Nielsen ratings. According to Deadline, the soap came in last in the key demographic of women 18–49. It was seen by 463,000 viewers in that demo, down 34 percent compared to last year. The series also came in last in total viewers, grabbing 2.32 million. 'One Life to Live' had 2.36 million during the week of March 7.

ABC could move 'One Life to Live' to California Oh HELL NO !!!!
