OLTL: Discussion for the week of March 7

Hannah managed to make me miss Stacy. So would Luna Moody or Yasmine Bleeth's character (yes, I have an irrational hatred for Yasmine Bleeth characters)if I had to watch them again...

I agree that Aubrey is being propped and that everyone, including CLINT, have to be idiots in order for her schemes to work. Though the only thing that really bothers me about it is that Terri Conn can't pull it off. She can be a good actress with the right material. But I don't think she has any charisma. I also think Terri only has chemistry with women from what I've seen.

And I think she's way out of her league when she's in scenes with Jerry ver Dorn. To be honest, I don't even think she can hold her own with Tom Degnan or Josh Kelly. But I still find something appealing about her.

It helps that my expectations are low after the "bad girls" we've gotten in recent years. I hate Stacy. I eternally despise Hannah.

I'm just looking it as the "lesser of evils". And it also helps that the show has other problems that aren't really any better. Todd, Ford, James, Nate, Dani, Gigi (I would actually like her if it weren't for Farah Fath. She is an awful actress and she's also such an idiot in real life.), Tea (when she's with Todd; otherwise I like Tea but she's rarely away from him these days), Starr(unless she's with her mother more often), and I already eternally despise this new girl "Deanna", especially since she's some twit from James' stupid past AND she's in the porn industry.

That better be part of their master plan, too, or else you've just made the saddest statement ever.

The whole Ford family make many people, including ME, actually miss Stacy. And so did Hannah.

Is it bad that I look forward to Deanna merely because she's black and the propping that is going into her storyline is reminding me of how much airtime Evangeline got back in the day? One Life, don't mess her up the way you did every other African American character you've ever had.

I don't think the actor is that great but I kind of like Cutter. Well, at least when he's not in scenes with Aubrey, because she's a freaking drag. I like his scenes with Dorian and Kelly.

Finally, Natalie is talking about finding a place to live. About time. I would not want to live at Llanfair with Tess on the loose

John and Kelly are really gross.

Gigi made a funny LOL.

If Natalie and Gigi were crackheads, their dialogue would make TOTAL sense. You could blame the (whack) crack for the stupidity of their statements. That Gigi would utter that John should just 'get over it' that Nat lied for MONTHS about the baby, never told him there was even a possiblity that the child wasn't his is just too idiotic for words.

Oh... and Nat is amazing so that should REALLY make up for her lies.

That my sympathies lie with John, a characer I typically loathe, says something. I can't find one reason to like Natalie or Gigi and their reaction to John's pain just makes me dislike them even more.

As dysfunctional as it is, in some ways, John and Kelly's relationship is the most real one on the show.

Okay, I've only seen an episode and now these first 8 or so minutes but it's official, Andrew Trischitta cannot act.

On his worst day, Carmen LoPorto's sometimes-stilted line readings had more life than this.

It says how hard the show has worked to prop John. The more they have him pout as women debase themselves and act stupid, the more we are supposed to care about him. He is the real victim in all this.

LOL Podd asking Gigi if she's finally going to graduate. That was a funny line. But I would rather not watch TSJ and FF in scenes together.

That was a funny line, as was Gigi's reaction.

Joey needs a cast iron skillet to the back of his idiot head.
