OLTL is always last in male viewers- perhaps they are trying to sex Aubrey up to draw males in? Or are they gaying it up to draw the gay males in? Seems as though if they could bring up their male viewership it would help with total ratings, but they don't care too much about that demo I'm sure.

I really like Aubrey, Cutter, Vimal, and Rama. I think this is the most I've liked a string of newbies in a while... I prefer them to the Fords and their lovers. The show is MUCH stronger without Starr, James, Ford, Langston, Nate, and Dani. It's a completely different show. I like Destiny and Matthew, but even without them I think it's fine.

I think focusing on the 20/30 somethings AND heavy utilizing the vets in the meantime is the strongest way to go. The Clint/Bo/Nora, Dorian/Viki/Echo/Charlie, and subsequent stories with Rex's paternity, Nat/Jess's baby daddies, and Kelly/Cutter/Aubrey/Joey are all entertaining stories....

I hope there is a way to redeem Clint, but there was always a way to redeem Asa so I'm hoping so... Clint seems to have pings of guilt, but then does something worse... hopefully something can/will happen to redeem him.

Terri is very pretty but she's also very frosty and generic. If they want to get male viewers they might want to have Melissa Archer wear that Emmy dress.

Yeah, I doubt they care about the straight male viewership, but when I was younger my uncle and brother loved OLTL. My uncle had a huge crush on Gabrielle, and characters like Max, Marco, and Carlo were popular anti-heros/cool villains. OLTL and AMC boast some VERY attractive women and you could definitely win over more male viewers with the same cheap shallow tricks they use to try to win over more girls and gay guys. Melissa Archer in a bikini top would be an event. Bree Williamson coming put of the pool and snapping her bikini bottom out of her cheeks, um, yeah. A kid who doesn't have cable and gets home from high school at 2:30 and flips on the tube regardless, you could definitely grab some more attention. Why not just go all out and appeal to all with gratuitous flesh flashing? I mean damn, OLTL has shown that's the kind of show it wants to be now, so why not?

ETA: Great minds Carl, great minds.

I don't think it's that different. Clint props Aubrey as he does the Fords. Matthew looks stupid for Nate, Joey does for Cutter.

The main difference for me is that Ford the sickening rapist and Nathesulah are offscreen, so that's less repulsion, but Aubrey and Cutter are so cliched they are like something out of a late night Skinemax film.

I was impressed that Rex was able to lift Shaun who was lookin like Charlie Sheen (Two and a Half Shirts?). At least they didn't find an excuse to work the Fords into this.

It was Cutter who lifted Shaun. I agree, no Fords at all. It made this episode all the better.

LOL! I rolled my DVR back twice because I thought it was hysterical, but I had to look again to see who was lifting him.

Todd: Since when did this place become a gay bar? LMAO!

Drunk Todd was hystericaly today today. I was LOLing at his crack about Tea pausing to count the body parts of Creature Feature! LMAO! TSJ's WTF eye roll was perfected executed as the strippers. I too was like WTF! Only Todd could get me to watch Rexx strip! Oh Shaun is one mighty fine man, I wish we had MORE of him stripping :-)

I'm drawn to pitiful Vimal because it's so obvious he's got a good heart but his wife rules the roost. Funny he should meet up with Todd who rarely suffers nice guy characters like him.

I actually watched the entire show from start to finish. I credit Rama with getting me to watch that detestable Aubrey. Dorian and Viki are always a win but tag teaming smug Echo was SOOOO satisfying.

The Llanfair stripper was lame but he's just a model and I enjoyed the ladies trying to one up themselves there particuarly IK vs FL who would behave more outrageous LOL!

The one lame scene was John and Brody trying to act all irked about the stripper. ME and ML dragged those fun scenes down IMO.
