In terms of Snarky/Bitch, um no sorry. Not as great as MCE IMHO.

MCE was good but she wasn't the end all be all of soapopera-bitches.

We never really get to see bitchy/snarky liz but I can tell BH has got the fire in her. She would work well.

I feel just like Erica Kane after she found out she was still married to Adam and Bianca was a bastard!

I just have this feeling, Becky Herbst or not, that the role will be recast. It seems improbable that they're done with the character

She's got the snark down but I don't know about funny....she is not a brilliant as MCE, though at any of it IMO.

Then she can't play Annie.

You meant you feel like Susan Lucci when she kept losing that Emmy.....lol

Hey SoapBoy94...this is about Melissa Claire Egan, not about you and your faves.

The "In Memory of Rebecca Herbst" thread already exists. Please find it.

To all others: back to our regularly scheduled panic and ranting, already in progress.

YES!

Or when Susan Flannery won and SuLu walked on-stage!

She is playing snarky and bitchy right now and has for a while. The problem is the writing behind Liz does allow her to own up to it so she comes across more holier than thou. Liz is a miserable bitch; Annie is a fun one. Both b-tches but the writing takes different approaches at portraying that

Bellcurve, go pound salt.

How odd. A ProActiv commercial just came on and BAM there she was with a little subtitle "Melissa Claire Egan, Actress: All My Children"

Thanks Angela for checking for us. I hope they tell you something

The e-mail is sent out. I'll inform you guys when I get a reply which will probably be in the morning. Knowing the speed of secret sources and the internet, we may all have answers before then.

But you could tell by the spoilers, the day to day writing and the writer's comments on Annie/JR/NuMarissa that they wanted Annie out.

I'm going to disagree with that. There was a shift in her writing but I think that's solely because she told them she was leaving and this was the road they chose to write her out. The shift started recently.
