Members Eric83
Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series Aaron D. Spears, B&B Cornelius Smith, Jr. AMC Darnell Williams, AMC Rodney Saulsberry, B&B (who the hell is this?) Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Series Debbie Morgan, AMC Julia Pace Mitchell, Y&R Tatyana Ali, Y&R Tonya Lee Williams, Y&R Yvette Freeman, B&B (Who? ) I am beyond tired of their Y&R obsession, Tika Sumpter deserved a nod. http://www.naacpimageawards.net/42/nominees-and-honorees/television/
Members bellcurve
Sauslberry is the homeless guitarist. No idea who Yvette Freeman is. And for the record, I absolutely agree with you. I think the people that choose these award nominees and winners are people who live in Atlanta and only watch Y&R. Pretty sure they don't look at actor reels. Members marceline
I don't know why the NAACP even bothers acknowledging soaps. Lord knows, soaps don't return the favor.

Members Mr. Vixen
I love Tatyana, but come ON! She was in like 5 episodes last year! I was hoping Annie Ilonzeh (Maya, GH) would be on the list. She's really come into her own on the show.
Members London
This show, ugh. Ok,I forget why isn't CKLily nominated anymore? She used to win after Victoria left Y&R then when Debbi came back she won.
Members DRW50
They seemed to miss some categories, perhaps due to the deadline. Best Actress - black nurse killed by Lisa, GH Best Actor - bus driver killed while driving black, GH Best Actor - black doctor sure to be killed by Lisa, GH Best Scene Stealer - Tonya Lee Williams, Y&R/B&B - she managed to take a scene from white characters Best Actor - Snoop Dogg, OLTL Most Degradation - Darren, OLTL Best Show - ATWT
Members AllMyDaysatGH
Shannon Kane should be on this list. She had quite a bit of work in the first half of the year. Annie Llonzeh from GH wasn't bad either, she did great in the scenes after Ethan got shot in front of her. One of them should have been put in place of Yvette Freeman. I mean, nothing against her I thought she did great over on ER, but as a doctor on B&B she really didn't do much and was barely on (at least not in the last 7 months i've been watching). Oh well. I'm glad Saulsberry was nominated for B&B as I thought he did a great job! Particularly in any scene he had with just Brooke.
Members Cheap21
Texas Battle is HORRIBLE. His name has no business being on the list for best actor anything I cant believe they nominated the homeless guy who had like 4 episodes. WTF? I think Yvette Freeman is Stephanie's doctor. Another WTF?
Members marceline
Don't forget: Sassy black maintenance worker - AMC for Kendall's community service supervisor But I'd really like to see Novella Nelson get the Black Dayplayer Lifetime Achievement Award for all her years playing Judge Fitzwater. Honestly, the best statement the NAACP could make would be to say it's dropping the soap category due to the current state of diversity.
Members Jonathan
I'm surprised you're not demanding a recount on the grounds that Alicia Minshew isn't on the list.
