AMC: Frons replacing Kreizman and Swajeski?

Sorry if a thread has already been started on this or if it has been mentioned.

Per Jamey at DC:

All My Kids lost 142,000 total viewers over the previous week. AMC was down year-to-date 345,000. The soap held steady in households, but was the only daytime drama to fall among the coveted demo of women 18-49. Is there any wonder I'm hearing Brian Frons is looking to replace Kreizman and Swajeski, STAT! Oops, did I just type that?! Please disregard. See you next ratings cycle!

ANOTHER HW change? AMC is a revolving door. Maybe he should look into replacing JHC

The person who should be fired is the person who believes the odious Ryan and frost queen Greenlee should headline a show.

EXACTLY! How anyone hasn't noticed that she's been the throughline in the downfall of AMC is beyond me.

You can't fire Frons' wife.

Why hire them in the first place? I honestly don't think they've been that bad, it's just mainly so dull. Whoever takes over the show doesn't have to do much to save it. Just need more exciting stories and a real vision.

Looking for new HW's? Just put Lorraine Broderick in charge and you'll see improvements asap...she's already on staff -- give her a nice pay package, remove the shackles (i.e. Frons' supervision/micromanagement) and let her roll...That would be amazing! :D

I actually think they're doing a fair job--it's no secret that the annoyances like Rylee are Frons dictates--so that won't change. I'd be all for Broderick being bumped up--but she doesn't want that, right? But I do hope she remains on the writing team, if this happens...

Waiting with baited breath for the inevitable statement from new HW X that he or she has consulted extensively with Agnes about the show's vision. Seriously D&D haven't been terrible. If SOMEONE would stop mandating the headlining of characters that very few viewers give a damn about, the show's fortunes could turn around. I had to laugh as Donna's statement a few months back about how people keep asking her when Ryan and Greenlee are finally going to get back together. Who exactly are these people?

And while she has not much control at all, I agree with others that I'd rather see JHC go before the headwriters, in all honesty. She's done NOTHING for the show for *years* now--the show has gone through HW to HW but she's the common denominator.

No thanks, sorry but IMO LB was highly overrated, at least this time around.

I bet McT returns, and from what's been said, no one wants the HW job, so yeah Frons is gonna have to scrape bottom of barrell AGAIN

Oh please, this show has had a new HW for what seems like every year over the past 5 years, it makes no difference. Nothing will ever be great, let's not get too excited here people.

I'm over American daytime soaps, I've accepted they'll never be entertaining again, no matter which writer/producer/executive is running the show.
