The guy who played Eddie Winslow on Family Matters has been temporarily ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from his ex-wife after allegedly beating her with a belt ... in front of her son.

The woman behind the accusations is famed video vixen Karrine Steffans -- who filed legal papers in L.A. ... describing two separate violent encounters with 34-year-old Darius McCrary.

According to the docs, Karrine claims McCrary "choked me from behind and beat me with a belt" during an argument in February ... an attack allegedly witnessed by her 12-year-old son.

I agree.... not surprising at all, This just another added bonus to all the behind the scenes drama on Y&R. (which of course is better than the actual show)

This is old news. Before they got married she said the same things and he said she was crazy but he still married her. I think there's some truth to it but it's probably from both sides. Seems like there are drugs involved, btu thats just my opinion.

When I first read about this, I was immediately reminded of the email fwd about him that was going around a few years ago (girlfriend of downlow former black sitcom star discovers his HIV medication in the medicine cabinet). I wonder if she was behind that too. Would NOT put it past her.

AGREED. I do not like her, she is so chock full of (wow, won't go there)... issues I wish she would just shut her damn mouth and go somewhere and get some serious help. I like her a little less each time I catch one of her interviews.
