AMC: A very short clip of Daniel Cosgrove as the New Scott

Here is a very short clip of Daniel Cosgrove during one of SOAPnet's "Coming and Goings" video as the New Scott. It looks like he's talking to New Marissa (Who IMO looks like Natalie Buchanan from Behind). I wonder if the writers might try and do a romance between Scott and New Marissa. Maybe they might write she visited/wrote him while he was in prison. And that he's started to have feelings for her as a result of this.

I like his cold, steely look. Much different than the sappy look of Mayfield.

They probably just want Scott and Marissa as partners-in-crime against JR and Annie. I don't see them putting Cosgrove with a recast of an already troubling character. If they milk the Ryan and Madison situation, I could see them doing Scott and Greenlee again.

whats there to milk out of Ryan and Madison? They are done and over with and there's nothing there. Everything is all about Ryan and Greenlee. Madison isnt even a factor anymore. With that said, I did like Scott and Greenlee before and prefer that over her with Ryan.

That's what I thought too. I had no problem with Mayfield but I hope Cosgrove can work whatever magic they seem to be expecting of him.

On another topic, what in holy hell happened to Brandon Buddy?!?! I've only seen pictures of him recently so I knew he'd "changed" but he looks like Earnest Borgnine in that clip!

    • The first one is Cass Winthrop dressed as Krystle Lake on Another World (not from his original creation of the character to hide from the loan shark Tony the Tuna, but at a romance convention trying to find out what had happened to Felicia who was missing). The second one is also Another World, Jake McKinnon as Doris although I don't recall what his purpose was.
    • I know there was one brief scene in the summer of 1989 where Lillian did mention Calla.. but in relation to her past relationship to Ross and it was to Roger while he was a patient at Cedars.  I think he was trying to pump her for information on Ross.. and for some reason, Calla's name came up.   I could see perhaps Beth mentioning that her mother Lillian was visiting Calla.. but not exactly giving any sort of details as to the going ons in Calla's life off screen.

    • They're neither great nor terrible AFAIK, but it is more a question of the streaming numbers in this day and age vs. actual TV airings. The Chibnall era reminded me much more of the crisis years, but I do think it's a very real possibility now as well due to the streaming bubble collapse affecting the show and its prospects.
    • ANYTHING to get her off the screen..she COULD have been interesting if she and Van had a few face offs..(there was a mild one of her going back to work...but I wanted something meatier "Bitch, I am Vanessa Chamberlain and I don't take advice from someone who followed the..career path you did!" I did like Alex's outright disdain for her.
    • Thanks @Vee for the commentary.    I haven’t even watched this season yet after  I couldn’t get past the couple episodes last season…like it was too Disneyified for my taste, although I did think it was a least better than the Chibnall era (but so is a lot of things). I’ll probably go back and binge it now. Hoping this season ends on a high note. I did read the ratings are terrible. As it stands I’m beginning to feel like what long time DW fans felt with S26 in 1989.
    • Yes, they are all on contract. Next.
    • I also never understood Alex's friendship with Sonni or keeping the secret of Marah's paternity.  Not exactly heartbroken about Ms. Sally being ushered to the Hereafter.

I'm sorry but I'm a glutton for punishment. Would love to see this woman OWNING the canvas. Telling off Leslie who tells her she's the head b!tch.
