Hmmm the Jill/Nina scene at the end… is that from the same ep? I’m almost wondering if it’s from 1987? That’s the only time I can remember them being in cahoots like that… and it’s implied that Nina is still working at Jabot…?

That scene is actually from August 24, 1987 :) . I think the partial episode is in the vault, and that's indeed where Nina and Jill were briefly in cahoots, because Cricket was in the car with Phillip when he was drunk driving, and Jill was trying to get Cricket fired from her modeling gig, because she kept the truth from Jill. I think Nina was the one who blabbed on Cricket? haha.

Thanks for keeping up with the unlisted stuff! There's a clip of this date in those "Brad in the cage" clips that used to be on YouTube, but the clip in the Vault is 9:55 and this is 19:45. Maybe @YRfan23 can figure out if this is new material or if part of it is a different episode.

By the way, I'm uploading a bunch of promos from 1986-1989 in the Clips section of the Vault. They come from the big compilations on YouTube, so I'm not going to post them on my channel out of respect to the original uploader.

I'll have to watch the vault clips again, but I definitely think this is 2/28/89, based on the French Recap. :)

# 4049 02/28/1989 07/05/1993 Télé 7 jours (07/05/1993): Brad tries to escape and tries to call a taxi ... Télé Star (07/05/1993): Brad tries to escape by calling a taxi. Brittany confesses to George that she is in love with Paul. Nikki goes to Victor to have a conversation with him about the baptism of their son ..

I don’t know why so many people are so hard on the 1996 year of YR! I really enjoyed the Nick vs Matt story + Shick.. And Ryan

Most of ‘96 wasn’t bad. It went downhill Nov and Dec 96, worsening into the first half of ‘97

Thanks! I knew both their hairdos didn’t look like ‘89 hairdos 😂

Haha, and to top it off, JW still has a hint of her BD impression, she did for the first 6 months or so as Jill! :D

In watching the 1989-95 episodes list on page 310, you can just feel a certain energy die down storyline wise beginning in 1994. Granted 94-97 is miles above what we have today, but not as great as 90-93 before it, and late 97-2001 after it.

I did enjoy Victor's shooting drama, the aftermath of Matt Clark's shooting and the scenes associated with Nathan's affair.

Per the recap on Usenet, the letter Paul receives is From April stating her and Heather were doing ok etc... I'm glad there was some follow up from the conclusion of the trial, even if it's still kind of Sad Heather never got to know Paul as her father, during this time.

At least we have Victor and Hope's wedding from the next day in French. :) though I'd love to see the English version some day, especially to see Nikki's outburst on Victor and Hope. :D

I thought Nikki the wedding crasher had fallen off the wagon but she didn't.

She was contemplating drinking, and even had found a bottle of vodka (which I forget if she had stashed somewhere and she forgot about it when she became "sober") but she didn't actually crash the wedding drunk! :D

I think the frat party started the following week.

I cannot for the life of me understand why Bill Bell tried so hard to make Joshua Morrow happen from Fall 1994 to Spring 1996 when the real hotness on the show was Shemar Moore.

I will never understand how Josh Morrow got hired to play EB and MTS's son.

Same. He was one of the most miscast actors on the show, followed by Peter B as Jack but at least Peter could act and had some charm and charisma. Josh was always like watching chipped paint slowly fall off a wall.
