Maybe Days is doing more than one cast photo this year. This could be an unofficial one. I thought they would use the one with the actors dressed in formal wear that is shown in the 45th Anniversary promo. We still haven't seen that photo yet. The actors are dressed more casually in this one.

It's so nice how they include Doug and Julie in all these photos. They are only on about 10 days a year tops, but Days always invites them to participate and treats them as real members of the cast. Strange they didn't ask MBE.

Buzzworthy Radio is reporting that Days will be pre-empted in all markets tomorrow, November 3rd for a presidential press conference. This pushes the HD premiere date back one day to November 9th. Plus it means that one of the Christmas episodes will air after the holiday.

Thanks for the info. Wow that totally ruins a lot! Any cliffhangers coming up will be tarnished until after the year is over at least.

LOL, Cheap, Nadia really is channeling Snooki. I'm glad Days is toning it down the spray tanning. There was atime when everybody glowed orange on that show, and I honestly thought there was something off with my NBC reception. Melissa Burnett looks lovely with her porcelain skin and I would hate to see her hosed down look like a DWTS contestant.

Funny how Aniston and Mascolo are the 2 patriarchs left standing after being let go multiple times over the years in favor of others. Yet here they are!

It's so strange not having Alice around though. I'm so used to her being at the center, and then they sorta build off of that, by order of seniority and importance. (Y'know, Bo & Hope on one side, John & Marlena on the other, Maggie & Mickey propping up Alice, etc.)

I know, and nothing could make me happier. Me love them long time, especially Victor. JA was harshly treated for a long time, I thought.

I dont get why they put Carly so far away from Bo. True they arent in the same storyline but they are a couple on the show and it would make more sense for them to be near each other.

It doesn't sound like the anniversary show will feature any flashbacks or be anything significant. However, Corday did say in a recent online chat that Suzanne Rogers would say something on camera to the audience before or after that day's show to acknowledge the milestone. Frances Reid did that a couple of times in the past and now the torch has been passed to Rogers.
