Interesting, this proves that the 1972 copyright was taken off the titles as early as November 1983, instead of 1984 like is commonly thought. Great to see these early 80s episodes!

Nevermind, the intro was dubbed in. Still interesting to watch though. These scenes really make me miss WN as Roman and Alice

Agreed. Was she a nurse or a doctor when Valerie left Salem? Was she romantically involved with anyone on her way out? I'm assuming she broke things off with Abe before her departure.

I think the 1982 Valerie was a doctor.

I look at Tina Andrews and I can't help but remember when she appeared as J.J.'s pregnant gf on "Good Times."

Bill and Susan Hayes were married the exact same day as my parents. Happily, like Bill and Susan, they are still married and will be celebrating their 40th anniversary later this year. Neat, huh?

Henrietta!! I still remember her and Bern Nadette Stanis (Thelma) dancing to "Pick Up the Pieces" by Average White Band.

Susan also became a step-grandmother when she married Bill, as he had at least one grandson at the time. Julie was just a step-mother though (to her half-sister). Susan mentioned in a recent interview that she hopes Days gives her and Bill a cake for their 40th wedding anniversary since they met on the show.

I'd love it if Hope, Jennifer and Maggie threw an anniversary party for Doug & Julie, but I don't imagine that's gonna happen.
