Well, JKJ looks hot so that's a win for him.   He's not the best at singing even though I think he might have pursued this as a side hustle.

Eric Winter/Rex sings too?  Did they just let anyone who took a few guitar lessons as a kid sing a song on days?

Kyle Lowder has a slightly better voice than I remember.   His version of Brady really doesn't seem straight, but whatever.  

When they had Philip sing and play the guitar they should have said he learned from cousin Justin ... who did the same damn thing.

Ugh Wally Kurth's singing is not my fave either.  Ned and his leather pants were a fun time in the 90's but none of his songs were very good either.  I am not sure I truly believe the Idle Rich was a big time band.

I hated Ned as a singer.  It was fun for the first part of his story with Lois.  It should have ended when she learned the truth about his double life, and they could have let L&B move forward without Eddie.

I just meant a passing reference from where Philip picked up a guitar from since Justin did the same thing before Wally Kurth was ever Ned.

It was very much a bar band with their songs and talent, but the story was fine.  I just never believed they were super famous or a big money maker.  But I also cringed when Miguel sang and I was clearly wrong about that.   Turns out Ricky Martin is very talented.  I don't think you could tell that from his famous GH hit "Don't Stop Now". 

@Titus Andronicus's link reminds me ... someone at DAYS must have had a fetish for islands. We had everyone stranded following the plane crash right after the Princess Gina storyline, then Tropical Temptation the year after, and of course, Melaswen.

I do love a good island adventure, and Days did seem to do a lot of them really well.

Seeing all that popular music being played makes me kinda sad.  They can't afford any of it now.

Days had a fetish for islands and plane crashes.  I feel like there were a lot of plane crashes in that era with John/Bo ending up having to fly the plane.

Imagine Days trying to do an island adventure with the current budget.
