SOME 2026 SET MYSTERIES...

Here's a sneak peek of a few sets that will be seen (much?) later in 2026...

On the left, some props from George's Kitchen and on the right, a fancy-looking window area.

How long did DAYS run in South Africa?

I am not sure how long, maybe @JAS0N47 may have a better answer, but the show was extremely popular. I remember seeing TV ratings from SA in the late 2000s early 2010s and the show was one of the top “Soapies”, ranking high up amongst the original SA soaps, which are some of the highest rated programs in the country. I think it had a later time slot on TV, so it must of had a lot of young people watching. I believe part of the reason it was cancelled was because of government mandates for more local programming. From what I saw from a Google search that reason got it cancelled a few times as it bounced around channels until 2022. I wonder if the show streams there now?

Thanks for such a detailed response.

South Africa doesn't seem to be very sentimental about their soapies as pretty much all are gone now.
