Do you mean JLB Laura? I am trying to remember if she was ever used as a serious psychiatrist. I remember when they had her practice it was to do the poison paint story.

If anyone wants to see these someone gave them to me a few months ago:

Since I've never seen Flannery in the role, I can't really agree or disagree. I like her well enough, though, without the context of her previous incarnation. I just can't take her very seriously as a doctor.

Yes, JLB. She's been counselling Marlena during the possession story a little and continuing to act as a doctor. Only you get the sense she's about to break down in tears at any moment.

Thanks for the episodes.

Susan Flannery Laura and Jaime Lyn Bauer Laura were like two completely different characters. Rosemary Forsyth Laura, who was the Laura viewers watched lose her mental stability, was much more like Flannery -- even as her grip on reality slipped, her persona was still largely cool and composed. Nothing at all the breathy, dithery Bauer Laura.

I don't think I've taken Marlena seriously as a therapist since 1983.

I loved Nick.  I was bummed they killed him off.  I was just reading up about Nick’s mom and I guess I never put two and two together that Jake snapped after “Angel” left him and started killing people, and that “Angel” was one of Jessica’s alters.

    • Which officially started to feel that way today with them hearing each other out as they confronted each other at the same time.    Same. He was even catching himself when he was about to go overboard or do those tics that people don't seem to like. He failed a bit at the end, but he carried. It makes me think about a month back when it was discussed that the actor was better in other things he's been in. And I questioned then if that meant that he was playing Martin more intentionally. I questioned that briefly again today because he was giving.
    • I really like the actress who plays Margo. Don't know  her name. I'm so hesitant to google anyone because I don't want to know the length they were on the show. I've watched two episodes and I have to say that the show does not feel as dated as other shows. I tried to watch Ryan's Hope a few weeks back and some of the acting was a bit rough. EON is a lot more natural which amuses me considering it's a mystery/thriller show.
    • She’s INCREDIBLE. I’m so glad you enjoyed this my friend.
    • I loved SOAP OPERA NOW because they  did detailed analysis of the ratings.
    • I love MKA and feel like they never used her to her full potential with India. The character seemed to exist merely to fight with Alex and blackmail men into marrying/sleeping with her. As if! Then adopting an orphan right out of Little Orphan Annie...somebody BTS didn't like her, I think.
    • I mean...Sarah Michelle Gellar did go on to be a household name and food guru. I can see Ambyr doing the same with the same talent.  Amen.
    • It really is ridiculous how happy episodes from 40 years ago make me. God, MKA is so young!
    • Holy sh.it. THAT was a damn soap opera. I’m at a loss for words for how good that was.
    • A private elevator penthouse with a spiral staircase to the primary suite.  Sign me up! The only deficit was that various riff-raffs seemed to have easy access to the elevator.
