What they need to do is ask themselves - what is this show, what can we do to stand out, why are we on the air? If their answer is, "It's because we're The View," then they got it wrong. She's intelligent, funny, passionately opinionated, and she kisses zero ass. Staying with housewives (a good place to look IMO), Carole Radziwill or Countess Luann would be the obvious choices over someone like Bethenny IMO. Luann especially because she could bring a touch of class and civility and also boost their lifestyle segments. Carole would work because she's funny and can be lowbrow like Meredith, but also has a strong news background. Honestly, she'd be a smart choice for moderator. Whoopi needs to go.
