Thanks. I was curious as I wondered if Wally might have been part of  Irna's plan to refresh/purify ATWT, if this is around the time Penny's Vietnamese daughter was there, Tom and Carol trying to live off the land, etc.

She was dating two men at the time.  The minister and Simon Gilbey played by Jerry Lacy. Don and the phantom pregnancy may have been after that

Simon Gilbey was 1971. Jerry Lacy moved onto Love of Life by 1972.

Lisa was seeing Don in 72 . Wally arrived late in 72.

So Simon and Wally were dating Lisa at different times.

My memory may not be clear but I do know she was seeing somebody else at the same time as the minister. It could have been Don

here was a writers' strike of around 3 months in mid 73 so that would have derailed some of Irna's plans. I think she returned for a short time after but then was fired.

And, then as she was working on her memoir, one night she died in her sleep, right? Holidays 1973?

Yes it's from 2020.

Sad to see Marnie Schulenburg knowing she's no longer around us.

And even in 2020 I would kill for Agim Kaba's facial bone structure. He still looks fine.

Between a minister named Wally and Don Hughes poor Lisa was really going through a bland faze!

WLS YouTube channel has episodes from The Willows uploaded, so I actually got a chance to see and understand what you’re referring to. Yeah, Bennett was one strange dude who I found off putting. I didn’t understand what Lisa saw in him. I am not familiar with the other two beaus but based on Bennett alone, it definitely seemed like the writers and producers didn’t know what to do with Lisa romantically speaking.

I think that Bennett Hadley came onto the show much later.    I hope that I am thinking of the right character (Bennette Hadley).   My mother had watched As the World Turns from its beginnings in 1956, and, for some strange reason, she liked the Bennette Hadley storyline so much that, when Mr. Hadley was dropped from the show, she stopped watching As the World Turns for the rest of her life.

I'm So Happy i found an Episode with Maeve McGuire as Lisa!

Heather Ratrray looks stunning in this episode. I loved the Lily gas lighting story with suspects like Barbara and Angel. Who knew it was Henry Lange all along.
