Riddled with technical glitches, if past history proves true.

Some are excited about the interview. Saying it's going to be great. I replied that it would be a softball interview.

I find it hard to believe people are excited about the interview. I don't think anybody but hardcore ATWT/soap fans would even know who he was and all of us hate him.

It figures. 🙄 Is he really that loyal?

Likely wants to have people still come on his show and is paranoid about negative comments as a result.

Scrubbing comments that are not offensive, merely asking probing questions, seems an awful like censorship, but hey, maybe he's content with getting an annual click rate of less than the average cat video.Seinfeld Reaction GIF by MOODMAN

It's his channel and it is his right to assert his own rules. I only wish that he wouldn't designate himself as some sort of classic soaps ambassador because at this point, his fawning coverage to the former higher ups, while practically cutting off the actors and some of the writers when they offer less than rose-colored statements, is exacerbating the worst impulses of the soap media. Being uncritical of a genre that we all love, yet acknowledge has always had problems, even in its heydays does a disservice to us all.

He'd promptly ignore it as I'm sure he couldn't care less 😂, but thanks for the compliment.

To be honest, I'm not as interested in his YouTube channel as I would be in an archive of ATWT and GL episodes, similar to what has been done with the B&B and Y&R vault that was created. I'm pretty sure that vault is what led to the eventual upload of episodes of B&B "From The Beginning" on their YouTube channel.

That's why I prefer when he has performers from before the 90s come on his show..because he tends to let them spill the tea.

His Susie Pratt interview, his Rosemary Prinz one, and any of the SFT, Ryan's Hope, or EON ones.

It looks like Alan already erased the comments I made about Goutman on YouTube.

Your comments are still up on Facebook, and they are getting a bunch of traction. I only realize they are yours because of the same avatar on here and FB. I don't want to get into a back and forth on FB with Goutman defenders, so thanks for saying what you did. You definitely got a thumbs up from me.

Early in the pandemic, the reunions Mr. Locher hosted were a breath of fresh air, and they were greatly appreciated. I didn't watch them all live, but I think I caught up on all the ones connected to ATWT. This one...no thanks. I get it -- it's his platform, his career, and he can do what he wants. However, he definitely won't be getting any clicks from me when it comes to Goutman.

Gotta support Dominic Thiem anywhere I can.😂 Thus his avatar everywhere.

Yes, the Facebook post is still up. I'm sure he would've deleted it had not people replied to it.  I'm sure the ATWT actors that are friends with Alan on Facebook have read it. I just wanted to show my displeasure for this man. He truly didn't give two sh!ts about ATWT. I'll never forget the crappy ending he gave us.

That's how I feel. Most of his AW episodes are pretty good, too - especially when Alice Barrett-Mitchell got candid about her firing. I don't think Alan sees candor as a good thing.
