Tricia Cast is doing a fantastic job. She always does, but this storyline is bringing out her absoulte best. I smell an emmy nom.

MTS looks good, other than the way they dress her. And she is really good in the acting department, especially lately, IMO. Like someone else said, she really makes lemons out of lemonade. Can't wait to see this alcohol story progress...Anyone else think Deacon will be helping her through it? Seemed like it from that scene the other day.

I recorded Friday's show but didnt watch it. Decided to watch today's show on SoapNet until the tennis resumed....bad decision.....the whole Chance story a big snooze.......bad acting by everyone....the story felt so flat...no real drama...I was bored when I should have been riveted. The whole show was a snoozefest.

Bad acting by everyone? Do us a favor, enroll in the Helen Keller school for soap critics. Now... Today was pretty amazing, with only a few flys in the ointment. Melody was fantastic, Hendrickson was surprisingly excellent... she really brought her A game. Lauralee even did very well. And of course, we all know who the star of today's show was. Tricia Cast... I don't know how she does it. Just incredible in every way. She will go down as one of the 10 best actresses in soap history, mark my words. Now for the not so good. Riegel continues to SUCK SUCK SUCK just day after excruciating day, we have listen to her Minnie mouse voice and look at those big tits rolling around in dowdy floral print dresses, all the while she shows us how completely devoid of talent she is. Jess was not BAD, but something about her was off today, she seemed drained of her power. And i'm sorry... Jeanne dropped the ball today. I know she's been dissatisfied, but for God's sake grandma.. suck it up, like we know you can. Billy Miller is showing his weakness today, and in a really big way, unfortunately.... Branson outperformed him. Amelia, however, managed to rally and give us something halfway decent. Maybe she accidentally dropped her coke spoon down the toilet bowl this morning, who knows?

I think this story was probably designed to hype Liz Hendrickson, since she's one of their favorites, and also to help Eden Reigel, and of course Ronan. I hope that Tricia getting attention won't cause them to banish her, or continue to try to make her look bad to prop Chloe.

Carl, I just like Branson. Sorry. Brooding, sexy, and he seems to have more range than Billy Miller. I like Billy Miller, too, but I'm freaking SICK of seeing him at this point. Put him out of rotation! And someone correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't Gloria resembling Lypsinka more and more with each passing week?

I like Jeff Branson too, and he certainly has more range than Billy Miller, who can only mug, but I don't like the role. He's the latest in the unpleasant men who treat women like tissues and are more interested in puffing up their chests than in much else. The show keeps doing these rivalries between men but they are all so fake -- the fights with Chance were just awful IMO.

I just hope that they don't make this into evil Nina and her wicked ways against poor Ronan and Chloe.

I was going to say, alphanguy -- Tricia Cast gave an absolute masterclass today, She deserves not just an Emmy nod but an Emmy for her entire performance -- screaming as Chance's body was covered, shoving Ronan against the wall, slamming the door in Cricket's face. I was in awe. I heard TC is well-liked by her castmates and I *hope* this will stand her in good stead come Emmytime. Because I am SICK of seeing Bergman/Stafford/LeBlanc/Miller heading every category just because they bring in home-made brownies every couple of months.

Speaking of those overrated buffoons, IA that the material showed up Miller for the empty, self-absorbed. Let's face it, Victor is the world's most horrendous father, and what he is done to his pregnant daughter -- throwing her in jail after she did him a favor in Japan -- is sick and despicable. Howver, when Billy came into the ranch ranting and raving and mugging and smirking, and Victor came towards him and said "Would you let your daughter marry a gambling addict who has slept with three-quarter's of the town's female population?" Braeden turned it right around and really showed Miller up. Badly.

"The" Stafford has woken up and is now digging deep into her box of annoying acting tics in order to play Phyllis-babes. And I thought Giggly Heffa was bad.

Reigel is awful. I didn't buy for one second that she was devastated over her paramour dying. Plus Feather still resolutely thinks the bad guy is the good guy.

You know who was rather good? Thom Bierdz. Thom and Tricia really connect in their scenes together. I thought he was a tower of strength. Branson was also surprisingly good as a completely shell-shocked Ronan. Look on the brightside, Ronan. Feather is going to prosecute you so you are sure to get off.
