Jesse metcalfe as christopher, can they recast ASAP! Do these producers realize that John ross and christopher are really cousins because sue ellen/Kristen were sisters. Jesse would not be my choice as christopher.

I'm really waiting for this. I loved Dallas as a kid. It went off when I was like 4. But, I watched the reruns constantly. Such a good show. Now, for a Knots Landing remake. Please!

Though, I must agree. Metcalfe. Really? I hate to put it so bluntly but, he sucks!

Nothing against Metcalfe, but shouldn't they have hired someone who looks like they would be a Ewing?

I wonder if they will address that he is Sue Ellen's nephew on D2-- it never really came up in the series after the adoption. I'm sure the casting choices has more to do with ensuring the pilot gets picked up.

Ohhhhh my God, I love it when I run into people I know in totally unrelated circumstnces. I know Jules. We did a show together.

As for this devastating news... the sight of Jesse Metcalf's face over that iconic theme song? I can't I won't. They lost me here. And yes, I'm being that dramatic. This SUCKS!

Well technically Christopher is not a BLOOD Ewing so he is supposed to look different from the rest, that being said, Jesse Metcalfe sucks arse  bad casting right there.

^ Christopher isn't a Ewing, but he is a Shepard and both of his (white) parents were characters on the show. Sue Ellen's sister Kristen and Jeff Farraday were his parents.

I'm so over this project. The casting is just horrendous and this doesn't seem to fit the TNT brand at all. If we're lucky enough to get a series order, it'll flop.

The issue I replied to was that he isnt a Ewing therefore he isnt going to look like the rest of the Ewings imo, I know who his white Mother is and I agree the casting of JM is whack.

A big +1 for your entire post!

I would think Christopher and John Ross would look a little alike they are by blood cousins.

I honestly think the actor thats suppose to play John Ross should play christopher, because lets face it John Ross will be the main character because of his parents, so they need to find a great actor to play him.
